Upping the Ante With a Progressive Jackpot
While the new game type at WPT Global features many familiar aspects, it also introduces a novelty that we have not seen before in these types. In addition to the standard prize multiplier, Global Spins also features a progressive jackpot.
At the start of every game, 1% of each buy-in is deducted and added to the progressive jackpot pool. The progressive pool continues to grow with every game until the biggest multiplier of 6000x is triggered at a certain stake level.
When this happens, in addition to the maximum regular prize, the tournament winner will receive the full amount of the jackpot accumulated up to that point for that stake level.
