The 2024 World Series of Poker may still be six months away, but it is never too early to start planning for the next Main Event. This year, WSOP US has surprised players across all four regulated sites with a special freeroll on January 31.
The freeroll will award the winner with a seat in the 2024 WSOP Main Event, and all existing and new players alike — in Nevada, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania — are invited to get involved.

What to Expect from the 2024 WSOP?
The New Year has just kicked in, and we only have limited info about the WSOP 2024 schedule. What we do know is that it will once again take place at Paris and Horseshoe in Las Vegas, from May 28 — July 17.
The Main Event is scheduled to kick off on July 3, and, as always, there will be four starting flights (on July 3, 4, 5, and 6).
In 2023, the Main Event finally broke the attendance record set by the 2006 tournament, and it did so in style, exceeding the 10,000-player mark. With live poker seemingly as popular as ever, there is no reason to think that the 2024 event will not feature similar numbers.
Beyond the Main Event, WSOP has confirmed the return of three marquee tournaments: Millionaire Maker, Mystery Millions, and Seniors Championship. We expect the full WSOP 2024 schedule to come out in the next few weeks, as organizers have commonly published it by early February.
