Four WSOP Online Bracelet Events Last Week Award Over $2.5 Million Four WSOP Online Bracelet Events Last Week Award Over $2.5 Million

Last week, we saw four more online bracelet events take place across combined WSOP Online and WSOP PA platforms. This brings the total number of online bracelets awarded in 2024 to seven, with plenty more action remaining.

The most recent tournaments awarded over $2.5 million in total prizes, with the three WSOP Online events featuring very similar prize pools in the $800k region despite different buy-ins. The second bracelet event at WSOP PA once again came close to breaking six figures but ended up a few thousand short.

All in all, the online portion of the World Series of Poker has been going strong, although numbers seem to be lower than those from the last year. This is odd, as the 2023 online series featured only New Jersey and Nevada on a combined platform, while this year Michigan is in the mix as well, but things could still pick up in the weeks to come.

Players Come Out Strong for the Triple Treys Event

Last week, there were three bracelet events taking place on the three-state online poker network combining Nevada, Michigan and New Jersey. The one that saw the largest turnout by far was Event #5 – $333 Triple Treys, which ended up with 2,664 entries. A small buy-in and a chance to win a bracelet clearly inspired players who decided to spend their Sunday on the virtual felt.

When it was all said and done, the title went to Roman Hrabec, aka. ‘Exploitmamma,’ who picked up a gold bracelet alongside $100,228 in prize money for an excellent payday in a $300 tournament.

Event #4 took place on Saturday, and with a buy-in of $600, this Deepstack tournament attracted 1,565 entries, generating a prize pool of $845,100. Robert 'StaxleRose’ Strunk was the last player standing, picking up $116,708 for their efforts.

The mid-week bracelet event on June 4 featured a smaller field of 896 entries, but this was also probably because of a $1,000 buy-in as well. The tournament ended with a total prize pool of $806,400, $124,830 of which went to the winner Evan Sandberg, aka. ‘JoeyKnish123.’

Over at WSOP PA, the second of seven online bracelet events scheduled for the 2024 summer took place. Event #2 was a $400 NLHE PKO tournament that ended up attracting 267 entries for a prize pool of $96,120. The title and the bracelet went to the player going under ‘CaptainLevi,’ together with the first-place money of over $16,000.
