Building on the success of its Spring Festival, WPT Global will be turning up the heat this summer with two more tournament series. Between the two, these events will feature $10,000,000 in guarantees, with tournaments to fit every budget.
The Spring Festival dished out over $7,000,000 in prizes as players turned up en mass to join the action and compete at one of the fastest-growing poker sites in the world.
The two upcoming festivals will be running in July and August, and while we are still waiting for full schedules to be released, the information we have already makes it clear there is plenty to get excited about.

$3M up for Grabs in the Preheat Festival
The Preheat Festival will be running at WPT Global July 12 — 21, featuring 160 events and a hefty guarantee of $3,000,000 across the board. As always, the schedule should offer a nice mix of different buy-ins to accommodate all the different bankrolls.
The Championship event will feature a buy-in of $220 and a guarantee of $300,000. There is also the mini version of the event coming at just $22 but still offering $80,000 up for grabs.
The only other event that has been officially announced is the $2,100 High Roller, which will be played in the popular PKO format, with a nice promise of $200,000.
This is just a snippet of what players can look forward to in the second half of July at WPT Global. With 160 tournaments on the docket, there will certainly be a great range of different formats, variations, and buy-ins.
At Least $7M GTD in the Summer Festival
The Preheat Series will lead into the Summer Festival, which kicks off on July 28 and lasts until August 18. There will be at least $7,000,000 in guarantees across the schedule, and although we have a very few details right now, the series will be quite similar to the Spring Festival.
This means that there will be a good range of buy-ins, with a fair number of high stakes events thrown into the mix. Players will get to compete for big prize pools and even have a shot at winning their way to live World Poker Tour events.
So far, WPT Global has only revealed details for the Championship event, which will feature the buy-in of $220 and a guarantee of $500,000. Of course, there will be many satellites running on the WPT Global app leading up to the Summer Festival Championship, and all winners from the Preheat series will also receive free tickets for the tournament.
Altogether, there will be hundreds of tournaments with big guarantees taking place over at WPT Global from mid-July to mid-August. In addition to hefty prize pools, these tournaments also feature some of the softest fields you’ll find in online poker these days, and special promos like leaderboards and free tickets will add extra value to the mix.
