Revolution Gaming skin, Juicy Stakes, has emailed players letting them know how some elements of the transition to new ownership will be managed. The site has been bought by Zagox Management N.V.
- Tournament tickets will all be cancelled and players will receive the equivalent cash value. The money will be deposited within the next few days.
- Player to Player (P2P) transactions will be stopped until further notice.
- There will be a temporary limit of $1k a week for withdrawals through the new system.
The initial emails explained that existing bonuses would be cancelled, but a new reload bonus, available to all players would shortly be put in place as a compensation.
The company is making an effort to slow down the rate at which withdrawal requests come in by offering to waive withdrawal fees for all players who rake at least $25 between October 14 and the time they to cash out.
Zagox Management N.V. was described in the initial email to players as, “a serious partner for all types of online gaming.” Their promise to respect the withdrawal times is stated in the Juicy Stakes cashier has been welcomed by players.
In July, PokerAddict downgraded Juicy Stakes to an F in his monthly US Online Poker Payment Processing Report, implying a very low expectation that customers would be able to successfully withdraw their money.
Concurrent with the news of the new ownership, Revolution Gaming skin, and highly regarded operator, Intertops, announced that it would share player liquidity with the new Juicy Stakes. This vote of confidence may mean that Juicy Stakes can return to the fold of respected poker room operators.
