The WSOP Super Circuit Online series returns to GGPoker for its 11th edition, headlined by a record-breaking $180 million in total guarantees.

Not something you see every week: A seven-figure guarantee on ClubWPT Gold.

If you’re in the US or Canada and play on the sweepstakes poker site ClubWPT Gold, there’s a pretty big event happening this Sunday.

They’re running a $1,000,000 guaranteed SC event, which is rare for the platform. Seven-figure guarantees don’t come around too often on ClubWPT Gold, so this one stands out.

It’s a single-flight tournament with a 218 SC buy-in, and there are qualifiers starting from just 2 Chip, so there are multiple paths to get in.

Tom Goldstein found guilty on 12 out of 16 counts.

A trial of Tom Goldstein, a reputed attorney and a high-stakes poker player has been at the center of attention of the poker world since the very beginning. That story has now almost reached its conclusion, as Goldstein was found guilty on 12 out of total 16 counts from his indictment.

The next to come is sentencing. If he were to receive the harshest possible penalty, Goldstein could face decades in prison, but legal experts don’t think he’ll get anywhere close to that. A few years behind the bars seems like a much likelier outcome.

Once a major stop on the US tournament calendar, the Los Angeles Poker Classic Main Event has been on a decline in recent years, and 2026 is really disappointing to see, posting only 50 entries. This is the third-smallest field in tournament’s history after 1996 (41) and 1993 (45).

WSOP Europe 2026 is getting a digital facelift, and the WSOP+ app is leading the charge. According to WSOP, players can now register for tournaments, add or withdraw funds, and track chip stacks in real time, all from their phones.

Players need to download the app through the Apple App Store or Google Play, then create a profile before heading to Prague. One requirement that hasn’t gone digital yet: completing in-person verification once you arrive.
