Thumbs Up for Golden Gaming, 888 Marketing Partnership
NGCB recommends deal approval, which would see Golden Gaming marketing a poker room on 888’s All American Poker Network to its patrons.
- Under the terms of the partnership, Golden Gaming plans to sign up online poker players at its three Pahrump casinos and its taverns.
- 888 and TI have both been approved for online gaming in Nevada.
- “It’s unique and allows Golden Gaming to market 888’s platform to its customers,” Golden Gaming attorney Michael Alonso told the Gaming Control Board.

“Accumulator” main events at each stop will allow a player to enter into all the Day 1’s.
- Dubbed the World Poker Tour National Series, the tournaments look to put incorporate a new twist on each of their Main Events, for each stop, by making them “accumulator” tournaments.
- At the end of each day, the chips are bagged, tagged and advanced to Day 2 where all of the chips that a player won are combined to give players their Day 2 starting stack.

UKGC Announces Consultation into Protection of Customer Funds
Six potential options—from fund segregation, to trust funds, even reserves held by the regulator itself—are proposed, and the industry has until December to respond. The UK Gambling Commission has launched a consultation on the protection of customer funds. Responses are required by December 4, and the resulting license condition amendments will come into force at the earliest in April next year.
