Ultimate Poker Parts Ways With Members of “Team U”
Ultimate Poker, the first official legal online poker site in the US, also became the first to lose members of its team of sponsored pros. It was revealed this past week that “Team U” members Randy Dorfman and Tom Marchese opted to leave their deals with the company.

Big One for One Drop Returns in 2014
Officials at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) have officially announced the return of the biggest charity poker tournament of all time. The Big One for One Drop, a $1 million dollar No-Limit Hold’em buy-in event, returns for the 45th Annual WSOP.
- In 2014, the Big One will increase its maximum number of players from 48 to 56.
- The event will take place from June 29-July with all play right up until the televised final table taking place at Caesars Palace.
- Should the event sell out, 20% of the participants are expected to make the money.
- $111,111 of each buyin will be removed and given as a charitable donation to the One Drop Foundation
Tom McEvoy, Scotty Nguyen Earn Induction Into Poker Hall Of Fame
This weekend The Poker Hall of Fame Governing Council announced that former World Series Of Poker Main Event World Champions Tom McEvoy and Scotty Nguyen are to become the 45th and 46th individuals to be inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame as the class of 2013.

WPT Grand Prix de Paris Starts This Week
The first televised European event of Season XII of the World Poker Tour (WPT) gets started this week with the bwin.fr WPT Grand Prix de Paris Main Event. The €7,500 buy-in WPT event takes place at the Aviation Club de France in Paris from October 25-30 as a part of the WPT’s two week poker festival.
Isildur Offers Up $100k in Full Tilt Promotion
