The combined cash game traffic of Ultimate Poker and WSOP.com, the first two online poker rooms in the newly regulated Nevada market, has reached a new peak, the latest traffic data reveals.

Full Tilt Poker announced the creation of “Full Tilt Poker Pro Battle“, a new television show which gives online qualifiers from the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Baltics the opportunity to go heads up against FTP Professional Gus Hansen.

- Full Tilt will be awarding 12 prize packages worth over $3,000 to bring players on set in Kiev to battle against professional poker players including Team PokerStars Pros Alexander Kravchenko, Ivan Demidov, Maksin Lykon and Eugene Katchalov for a total prize pool of $150,000.
PokerStars Soon to Reach 800 Million Tournaments
The week of October 13 – 20 should see PokerStars put on its 800 millionth tournament. The world’s biggest site plans to mark the occasion with a week of tournament promotions.
- PokerStars will run a week of tournament promotions to celebrate its 800 millionth online tournament.
- The celebrations will run from Oct 13 to Oct 20 with the grand event held on 20 Oct at 1pm EST.
- Tournament guarantees have been increased during the week and “Big” tournaments on October 20th will have triple guarantees.
- The week could well provide a big boost to PokerStars traffic and create an adverse effect for other operators.
