December brings one of the most crowded live poker calendars in years, with EPT Prague, WSOP Paradise, and the WPT World Championship all running within days of each other.

Dates overlap, formats differ, and each stop aims to top its own records from last year.

From Prague’s festival atmosphere to Paradise’s giant guarantees and the Wynn’s massive slate, the month is packed with choice and scheduling puzzles.

EPT Prague returns December 3 to 14 at the Hilton King’s Casino Prague, with full EPT and Eureka schedules, a fan favorite Main Event, and a bustling side events slate. The festival is expected to push big fields again after last year’s record Main Event and Eureka turnouts, which set new attendance highs despite direct competition from Vegas and The Bahamas. Online paths run under PokerStars’ qualification route known as Power Path, and the Prague stop anchors PokerStars’ year end EPT push within PokerStars Live.

WSOP Paradise runs December 4 to 18 at Atlantis Paradise Island, marking the series’ third edition and its most ambitious yet. The festival features fifteen bracelets, a renewed Triton lineup, and a headline Super Main Event that guarantees $60 million, part of the $75 million in total festival guarantees. The schedule, prize pools, and qualifier routes are spelled out in the WSOP Paradise guide.

The WPT World Championship festival takes place December 2 to 22 at Wynn Las Vegas, with 78 events across three weeks. The centerpiece $10,400 Championship plays December 13 to 21, alongside the $1,100 WPT Prime Championship from December 7 to 12. The series layers in mystery bounties, mixed games, and multiple seven figure guarantees in side events which is part of the broader WPT 2025 Championship offering.

Key Dates and What Happens When

The three festivals run almost in lockstep. Players building a two stop itinerary can still stitch Prague to Vegas, or Paradise to Prague with tight turnarounds.

  • EPT Prague. December 3 to 14. EPT Main Event runs inside that window at Hilton, Kings Casino Prague. Side events, high rollers, and the Eureka Main Event again anchor early momentum, as reflected in last year’s surge where Prague broke its Eureka record and posted its biggest ever Main Event.
  • WSOP Paradise. December 4 to 18. Fifteen bracelet events at Atlantis, including Triton high rollers. The Super Main Event starts December 10 with a $60 million guarantee, the largest live guarantee on the calendar. A Mystery Bounty Circuit Championship opens the festival on December 4. The full day by day schedule can be found in the WSOP+ app for structures and registration.
  • WPT World Championship. December 2 to 22 at the Wynn. The $1,100 WPT Prime Championship runs December 7 to 12. The $10,400 World Championship takes December 13 to 21, crossing with both EPT Prague and WSOP Paradise marquee events. The festival starts with an $800 dollar opener on December 2 that guarantees $1 million, and sprinkles $1,600 dollar million guaranteed events on both the first and final weekends, per the full schedule.
