Once more, 888poker is giving all the fans of the game an exclusive behind-the-scenes sneak peek of the experience that is the World Series of Poker Main Event.

The mini-series featured on the operator’s YouTube channel follows several of 888poker’s ambassadors as they embark on the journey to Las Vegas with one goal in mind: taking down the Main Event and claiming that juicy $10,000,000 first place.

Of course, the tournament is now over, and we know that Michael Mizrachi was the one to capture the elusive title, but the series was filmed in real time during the 2025 WSOP. Thanks to this, viewers get to experience the entire journey, from start to finish, seen through the eyes of the six players featured in the series.

Team 888poker on the Mission

For any poker player out there, winning a WSOP Main Event is the ultimate dream. Even for those who have bankrolls big enough not to be fussed about the multi-million first place prize (which is really rare), the prestige of winning the biggest of all tournaments and claiming the shiniest of all bracelets keeps its appeal.

The six 888poker ambassadors who traveled to Las Vegas this summer were just a small group in a massive field featuring nearly ten thousand players. But, despite varying degrees of skills and experience, all six dared to dream big, which is a prerequisite to achieving greatness in almost all walks of life — and especially poker.

Aaron Barone, JaackMaate, Nick Eastwood, Ian Simpson, Lucia Navarro, and Vivian Saliba arrived in Las Vegas at different times and from different parts of the world, but with one shared goal: playing their heart out on the felt and going for the gold.

WSOP Experience On and Off the Felt

Playing in the Main Event is a dream that many poker fans will never get to experience for a variety of reasons. The 888poker mini-series gives all those fans a chance to see and feel all the emotion that comes with it.

Moreover, it provides different perspectives, as that experience is very individual and closely tied to one’s own perception. Playing the WSOP Main Event feels much different to someone like Barone, who plays almost exclusively online, Vivi Saliba, who’s very used to grinding live tournaments, and JaackMate, whose overall poker experience is very limited.

Despite different backgrounds, though, all six share one common goal, and that’s to win. As far-fetched and unlikely as it may seem, it is the only right way to approach tournaments. While you know that you are unlikely to win any single one you enter, you play for the win until you’re out of chips.

The journey presented in the 888poker WSOP series has it all, from fairly early exits over close-but-no-cigar efforts to deep runs where the dream of making that final table starts looking a bit more realistic. You get a mix of poker stories (including some mandatory bad beats) and players just sharing their thoughts and raw emotions.

If you’d like to see what it is like to experience the World Series of Poker Main Event as a player, you should definitely check the 888poker YouTube channel. There are currently three episodes out and more to come, and these short videos will not only entertain you but will probably give you the motivation to play some poker yourself (in case you might be in need of such motivation).
