The WPT Asia Series goes into Overdrive this summer, as its newest edition offers ¥200,000,000 in guaranteed prizes, 13 WPT Rings, and millions more in leaderboard and daily mission rewards.
Running from July 19 to August 30, WPT Asia Series Overdrive will be the highlight of the summer at WPT Global, as players across Asia and the rest of the world compete for valuable WPT rings and massive cash rewards every single day.

Overdrive Brings 13 WPT Ring Events
The WPT Asia Series Overdrive is a massive festival that will run across 43 days and offer hundreds of events, with a total prize pool of at least ¥200,000,000. The lion’s share of that prize pool will be paid out through 13 WPT ring events, which will fall into two categories.
Seven of the ring events will be regular 1-day events, each featuring an appropriate name and game type for a tournament series inspired by high-speed car races.
The remaining six WPT rings will be given out to the winners of Mystery Phase events, which will feature multiple Phase 1 flights, followed by Phase 2, where all surviving players come back together to play for the ring.

The affordable WPT ring events schedule will give everyone a chance to play for a piece of WPT history, with Phase events in particular providing an affordable entry point, along with highly attractive guaranteed prize pools.
Leaderboard & Daily Missions for an Extra Incentive
WPT Global is giving players extra incentives to play in the WPT Asia Series Overdrive through daily missions and a ¥2,000,000 tournament leaderboard.
The Overdrive Leaderboard will pay ¥2,000,000 in total prizes, with players accumulating points throughout the duration of the Series by playing and winning events.
While the bulk of all points will be accumulated through deep finishes in Overdrive events, additional points can be won by making early bird entries and bubbling tournaments.
The Leaderboard will be split into weekly and final Leaderboards, with only the top 10 scoring days counting for each player. In order to receive Leaderboard prizes, players must have verified accounts.
In addition to the Overdrive Leaderboard, WPT Global will pay another ¥2,100,000 through Daily Missions. Missions will give players a chance to enter Daily ¥50k Finals, where cash prizes will be paid out to the winners.
Daily Missions will include Deposit Missions, Tournament Missions, and Casino Wagering Missions. The more tasks you complete in a single day, the more tickets you receive. Use the tickets to play in the Hourly All-In tournaments and reach the Daily Final.
With 42 opportunities to play the Daily Final, all tournament grinders will have a real chance to boost their overall results by picking up their share of ¥2,100,000 in extra prize money.
The Triple Ring Challenge Is On
As another leg of the WPT Asia Series kicks off, WPT Global has also kicked off its Triple Ring Challenge, an opportunity for players who win multiple rings to cash in on their feat.
The terms of the promotion are simple; win three WPT rings, and get paid ¥3,000,000 in cash immediately. This increases the value of the rings even further, and makes competing in WPT Asia Series that much more appealing.
To make things even better, the operator will count all rings won since January 2026 for the promotion, which means the rings won in February’s Series will count along with the ones offered through the Overdrive Series this summer.
So far, WPT Global has not set any end date, and the promotion is likely to keep on running until at least one player captures three rings and takes their place in an exclusive poker players club.
