The 2026 WSOP Online at GGPoker has been running for two full weeks, with 13 of the 33 bracelets already handed out and tens of millions in prize money paid to the winners in the early going.
Key events, including the $300 Gladiators of Poker, the $100 Flip & Go, the $500 Mini Main Event, and the ¥800 WSOP Asia Championship, are all in the books, attracting five-figure attendance numbers and shattering their guaranteed prize pools.
As we move into a new calendar month, GGPoker still has 20 WSOP online bracelets to give away, with the coming weeks bringing some of the most anticipated events, including the $2 million guaranteed Main Event, the $250 Mystery Millions, and the $10,000 Heads Up Championship.

Early Events Shatter the Guarantees
We’re used to GGPoker running exceptionally successful tournament series, so it comes as no surprise that the 2026 WSOP Online has been off to a flying start, with the early tournaments shattering their guaranteed prize pools and expected attendance numbers.
The 7th Annual WSOP Kick-Off event, which opened the festivities, saw 3,607 players advance to the Final Stage, creating a prize pool of $2,398,655. Raphael Caixeta won the Kick-Off for $207,168.50, his first WSOP bracelet, and the first of the $30k WSOP Paradise packages reserved for the champions.
The $300 Gladiators of Poker event brought a $3 million guarantee to the table, but ended up shattering this number, with 17,077 runners creating a prize pool of $4.76 million, over 50% higher than the original guarantee. It was Fino y Elegante who took home the title and the massive $579,752 first-place prize, along with another WSOP Paradise package.
The $100 Flip & Go event made S Schillhabel $150,740 richer, as he was able to turn a small investment into a massive payday and a WSOP bracelet with limited effort and a lot of luck, as is required to win in this entertaining tournament format.
August 24 saw a champion named in the $500 Mini Main Event, which reached its Day 2 after 12,113 entries were made the day before. The bracelet went to “panzhanle” along with a $747,545 first-place prize.
By far the highest attendance in the WSOP Online events thus far came in event #11 – ¥800 (approx. $120) WSOP Asia Championship, which saw 35,095 entries made, with 3,443 players making the money. A massive ¥25,829,920.00 (approx. $3.8 million) prize pool was created, and “Fartu_Masti_Bro” took home a prize worth ¥2,952,453.27 (approx. $440k) for a huge return on his initial investment.
The biggest win so far in terms of money won went to the online poker legend Benjamin “Bencb789” Rolle, who took down event #12 – $1,500 Millionaire Maker on August 31, taking home $1,366,929 and his second WSOP bracelet, following his memorable win in the 2025 WSOP Online Main Event.
Action Continues with Main Event and High Rollers Still on the Schedule
While WSOP Online has already been a huge success, and over a dozen WSOP champions have been crowned, the action is still just heating up, with a number of important events still on the horizon.
The first week of September will be highlighted by events like the $1,000 Rounders Cup – Battle of the Continents, the $250 Mystery Millions, and the $5k Pot Limit Omaha Championship.
Great things won’t stop there either, as the next week brings events like the $250 Beat the Pros Bounty NLH, the $1,500 GGMasters Freezeout Championship, and the $400 COLOSSUS, all expected to capture a lot of interest.
The final stretch of the series is set to bring some of the biggest WSOP Online events, with the $5,000 WSOP Online Main Event culminating on September 21, followed by the $25k High Roller NLH Championship the following day and several other high-stakes events over the last week of the month.
And there are still tens of millions of dollars left to play for, along with 20 more shiny new WSOP bracelets.
Millions to Share in Continental Flipouts and Country Freerolls
GGPoker has made sure that WSOP Online remains competitive until the very end by introducing a couple of fun dynamics that play on national pride and let players from different parts of the world compete for the title of the best in the world.
The Continental Flipouts are paying out a total of $3,000,000 in prizes, with up to $250,000 reserved for individual events. All you need to do to compete in the Flipouts is play any WSOP Online event and hope a player from your continent/zone wins it. If they do, you will automatically be entered into the tournament and have a shot at a piece of the prize pool.
Another million dollars is reserved for Country Freerolls, with players from the most successful countries over the course of the series entered into tournaments with prize pools ranging from $30k to $200k.
The Russian Federation currently leads the way with three first, one second, and two third places and over $6 million won, followed by Brazil and Germany. Players from Spain, China, Belgium, Canada, Austria, Ukraine, and France all currently stand to get Freerolls of their own, with lots of poker still left to play.
