888poker LIVE stops have wrapped for another year!
The stops were mainly spread out across the UK and Spain with one event taking place in the Romanian capital of Bucharest.
As well as the flagship 888poker LIVE brand, the Circuito Nacional de Poker (CNP), hosted in Spain, returned for 2024, as did a new UK tour called the United Kingdom Poker League (UKPL), which has been created in partnership with Grosvenor Casinos.

What is 888poker LIVE?
888poker LIVE is the flagship brand 888poker use to denote their live poker stops. For 2024 the live schedule was made up of poker events in the UK, Spain and Romania. 17 stops made up the entire year’s schedule with poker events starting in January and running all the way through until November 2024. New for 2024 was the United Kingdom Poker League (UKPL). The Circuito Nacional de Poker (CNP) that takes place throughout Spain also returned for 2024.

888poker LIVE
888poker’s flagship tour visited key locations in Europe. For 2024, there were five stops on the schedule, each spanning of week of poker action.
The first event kicked off in the Spanish capital of Madrid, before heading to Romania’s capital of Bucharest in March. The festival returned to Spain for a May stop in Barcelona before two UK events to finish the series: London in August, and Coventry in October.
Each stop hosted a main event, usually with a buy-in around €800 to €1200, usually with multiple Day 1 flights. But there was always a spread of other events too, usually with a high-roller (often two to three times the size of the Main), plus smaller Opening Day and Turbo events.
Other events included a Ladies event, and a cheaper Closer on the final weekend.

UKPL 2024
Announced late in 2023, the UK Poker League was a brand new tour from 888 in 2024. The partnership with Grosvenor Casinos, visiting six casinos across seven stops (there’s two in Coventry, bookending the tour).

UKPL Structure
All UKPL stops featured the same seven tournaments. Buy-ins range from £150 to £1100. The £560 Main Event plays as a two-day tournament, with four Day 1 flights sending players through to a final Day 2.

What makes the UKPL a league is that players also earn points for finishing in each event, and a year-long leaderboard will award prizes to the top ten finishers. The top finisher winners a $10,000 Live Event package to future 888poker flagship events. The second place finisher gets a yearly subscription to all UKPL Main Events. Other finishers include bundles of tickets to online tournaments on the 888poker platform.

CNP 2024
The Circuito Nacional de Poker is a long-running Spanish tour, which 888 has been the title sponsor for many years. For 2024, the tour’s twelfth season, it visited five iconic cities across the country, starting with Seville in February before visiting Barcelona, Granada, Alicante, and finishing in Madrid.

Ultimate Passport
888poker ran the Ultimate Passport promotion through to May 28, 2024. The promotion gives players on 888poker a chance of entering monthly freerolls that will give away packages to one of five events on the 888poker LIVE schedule for the new year.
Players can enter the freeroll via MTTs, BLAST games or cash game tables.
- MTT players need to play 15 tournaments with min. buy-ins of $1
- Win 80 hands in cash games
