Players can qualify for BSOP events via online satellites on PokerStars with Power Path being a popular method. Qualifiers are always available well ahead of a series starting, giving players plenty of time to win their seats.
Online satellites are already live in the PokerStars client for the upcoming 2026 BSOP Sao Paulo Main Event. Main qualifiers take place several times a week, featuring a buy-in of $82 and two or three seats guaranteed for the Main. For those with bigger bankrolls, there is also a $215 MEGA Qualifier taking place on March 8.
Players can build their way up to the $82 satellites as well. There are $8.80 feeders into the main satellite running around the clock. Plus, PokerStars also offers freerolls that award seats in $22 feeder events, which award seats in the $215 MEGA Qualifier.
That said, you should know that these freerolls offer unlimited $0.11 rebuys during the first 45 minutes of play, as well as $0.11 add-on at the end of the rebuy period, so you’ll have a better shot if you have a bit of bankroll to use here.

The Brazilian Series of Poker was founded in 2006. It came from a desire to create a regular series with deeper stack events and somewhat higher, but still accessible, buy-ins, happening at various places around the country.
Like most live poker tours that started this way, BSOP did not immediately have large fields. However, as time passed, the tour became more established, bringing more and more players, eventually becoming the largest poker festival in Latin America.
In 2010, the final BSOP event of the season surpassed the 1,000-player mark, and this was an important landmark for the festival. The next year, the final tournament had a R$1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool for the first time, resulting in a field of nearly 1,500 players.
Although BSOP largely takes place in Brazil, the tour ventured outside the country’s borders on a few occasions. In 2017, it visited Uruguay, and the year after, it reached Argentina.
In 2025, BSOP introduced some big changes, revamping its ranking system, introducing Gold Tournaments, adding Super High Roller series, and creating awards for the Female Player of the Year and the Foreign Player of the Year.
BSOP, the Brazilian Series of Poker, is the largest live poker series in Latin America, featuring a number of stops each year, primarily in Brazil, but also in other countries in South America, like Uruguay and Argentina.
You have to be 18 years or older to play in BSOP events.

The BSOP features a wide range of buy-ins, with most stops offering events starting as low as R$100 and going as high as R$100,000.
