Last updated: January 15, 2026

The PokerGO Tour (PGT) was established in 2021 primarily as a tour for professional players looking to compete against their peers and prove their skills.
A PGT season runs throughout the year, featuring 130 — 150 individual events with buy-ins of $5,000+. A majority of these events take place at the PokerGO studios at Aria Casino in Las Vegas, but select tournaments at other locations also count toward the overall season score.
The player who accumulates the largest number of points at the end of the season is awarded the prestigious title of the PGT Player of the Year. Tournaments are not limited to just No Limit Texas Hold’em, as there are numerous PLO and mixed games events as well.
While the PGT schedule is quite extensive, there are four majors throughout the season that carry a special weight and prestige. These are the PokerGO Cup, the Poker Masters, the US Poker Open, and the Super High Roller Bowl.
On this page, we bring you all the information about the PokerGO Tour 2026 schedule, an overview of all major events, an explanation of the points system, and more. As mentioned, there are four stops on a PGT schedule that carry more weight than the rest. These are known as “majors,” featuring higher buy-ins and some of the toughest fields you’ll find in any poker tournament.
Although it is the latest addition to the PGT schedule, the PokerGO Cup is usually the first of four majors, taking place in February. Consisting of about eight events with buy-ins ranging from $5,100 to $25,200, it is one of the most competitive events on the calendar. Previous PokerGO Cup winners include the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Jonathan Little, Jeremy Ausmus, and Cary Katz.
The Super High Roller Bowl is a six-figure buy-in tournament that has been running since 2015, long before the PokerGO Tour was established. Because of its prestige, it was added to the PGT schedule immediately after the tour had launched in 2021.
The buy-in for the event is usually $300,000, and the tournament attracts between 20 and 50 entries. In recent years, the PGT decided to expand the brand, adding PLO and mixed game versions of the tournament, with $100,000 buy-ins.
Not surprisingly, the tournament attracts some of the biggest names in poker, and the list of winners includes the likes of Isaac Haxton, Justin Bonomo, Seth Davies, Daniel Negreanu, and Timothy Adams, to just mention a few.
The Poker Masters has been running since 2017, and, just like the Super High Roller Bowl, it was added to the PGT schedule as soon as the tour was established.
The Poker Masters series usually takes place toward the end of the year, in November, featuring ten events with buy-ins ranging from $5,100 to $25,200. The player who accumulates the most points over the course of the series is awarded the title of Poker Masters champion and the coveted Purple Jacket.
In recent years, players who claimed this flattering honor include the likes of Michael Adamo, Stephen Chidwick, Sean Winter, and Jim Collopy.
The final of the four majors on the PokerGO Tour schedule, the US Poker Open, has been running since 2018. Typically playing out in April, it is a series of eight to ten tournaments with typical PGT buy-ins ($5,100 – $25,200).
The overall winner of the US Poker Open, in addition to all the prize money, also receives a $25,000 PGT Passport bonus as well as the Golden Eagle trophy.
This series alone has awarded more than $63,000,000 in prize money to date, with players like Aram Zobian, Martin Zamani, Sean Winter, and David Peters topping the points leaderboards and capturing the coveted Golden Eagle trophy.
In addition to the four majors listed above, the PGT Championship is another landmark event on the season schedule. This is a $1,000,000 freeroll that gathers the 40 players who accumulated the most points across the season, plus Dream Seat winners.
The tournament takes place at the PokerGO Studio at the Aria, usually during January. A lion’s share of the prize pool (usually around 50%) goes to the winner.
In addition to the 40 qualifiers, PokerGO sends a few lucky players to the tournament every year. These players get their Dream Seat spots through various promotions and competitions available throughout the year, leading up to the freeroll.
| Season | Winner | Prize |
|---|---|---|
| 2021 | Rok Gostisa | $689,100 |
| 2022 | Jason Koon | $500,000 |
| 2023 | Daniel Smiljkovic | $500,000 |
| 2024 | Jeremy Ausmus | $500,000 |
| 2025 | TBD | $500,000 |
Players earn points through participation in all qualifying PGT events listed on the tour’s official schedule. The formula for calculating points is based on two factors: the event buy-in and the total amount cashed for.
For cashes exceeding $1,000,000, there is an additional breakdown into tiers based on the event buy-in.
As mentioned already, the top 40 finishers get to participate in the season-ending freeroll that distributes $1,000,000 in cash prizes and determines the overall winner of the season.
| Cashed Amount | $3,000 – $14,999 | $15,000 – 24,999 | $25,000 – $49,999 | $50,000 – $99,999 | $100,000+ |
