PokerStars Live is the catchall term for PokerStars live events that take place across the globe. PokerStars runs events in the UK, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean, and now is back running events in North America. The European Poker Tour (EPT) is PokerStars’ oldest surviving live tour brand, hosting the operator’s most prestigious live events since its inception in 2004. Now in its 20th year, stops are slated in

Irish Poker Open (IPO): March 27 to April 1, 2024

The Irish Poker Open (IPO) is renowned for its electric atmosphere, live entertainment, and general Irish craic and banter, and we’re going all out to make sure that next year is an even more spectacular festival. The Irish Poker Open (IPO) is the longest-running poker festival in Europe and is one of the world’s most prestigious live tours. It returns in 2024 at the Royal Dublin Society in Ballsbridge, Dublin, and will run from March 27 to April 1.

A €1 million is guaranteed, and a €1,150 buy-in main event starts on March 27.

New for 2024 is the NLH tournament with a €500,000 guaranteed prize pool — the largest guarantee for a €200 buy-in in Irish poker history.

Pot-Limit Omaha fans will also be thrilled to find two new Mystery Bounty PLO events added to the schedule.

Online qualifiers are underway in the dot-com market as well an Ontario. 350 players will secure seats or packages to the Irish Open via the online qualifiers running.

Estrellas Poker Tour (ESPT), Madrid: March 19 to 24

The Estrellas Poker Tour (ESPT) is a poker tour that hosts multiple live events across Spain. It is one of PokerStars’ popular regional tours dedicated to low and mid-stakes players.

It has been announced that the ESPT’s first stop will be in Madrid, running March 19 to 24. There is a €1 million guaranteed prize pool. Standout events include the Estrellas Main Event, Estrellas Cup and Estrellas High Roller.

Online satellites for the ESPT are live on the dot-com and southern European client.

France Poker Series (FPS): To Be Announced

The France Poker Series has proven perennially to be a popular live series in France and Monaco, making its debut in 2010. Last year 5 stops were scheduled, including a new location in Belgium. More details are coming soon.

EUREKA Poker Tour, Rozvadov: March 8 to 18

The Eureka Poker Tour is another prominent regional tour from PokerStars covering Central and Eastern European markets.

The first stop on the Eureka Poker Tour this year will be in Rozvadov in the Czech Republic, which is taking place in March 2024. There is €1 million guaranteed across three events: the Eureka Main Event, Eureka Cup and High Roller events.

UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT): To Be Announced

The UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) is one of the most popular PokerStars-sponsored festivals, covering several stops across the UK and Ireland. Stops usually include Blackpool, Brighton, London, Edinburgh and Nottingham. Details for the 2024 tour have yet to be released.

Campeonato España de Poker (CEP): To Be Announced

The Campeonato España de Poker (CEP) is another PokerStars-sponsored live tour considered a staple of the live tournament circuit in Spain.

Famous stops include Barcelona, Madrid, Castellon, and Malaga. For 2023, the Estrellas Poker Tour (ESPT) and the Campeonato España de Poker (CEP) have come together, with the CEP tournaments running ahead of the ESPT festivals — how the 2024 series will play out is to be determined, as no word yet from PokerStars.

Latin and North American Live Poker Stops

North American Poker Tour (NAPT)

The North American Poker Tour (NAPT) returned triumphantly in Las Vegas in November 2023.

The tour featured a $1600 Main Event, a $5300 High Roller event, and a $550 PokerStars Cup at the Resorts World Las Vegas. The series resumed in its third season after the second season in 2011 was cut short after only completing two stops, thanks to Black Friday.

No further stops have been released for the NAPT, but PokerStars’ commitment to the North American market is clear, making more stops only a matter of time.

Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT): Multiple stops, April to December

The Latin America Poker Tour returns for 2024!

The Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) for 2024 for its 11th year. Stops return to Panama City, Rio de Janeiro and Montevideo in Uruguay. A new stop is announced in Mexico and there will be a special LAPT Millions event that will run during BSOP Millions in São Paulo towards the end of the year.

How to Qualify via PokerStars Power Path

Power Path is a four-step qualification method that starts with a $0.50 Spin & Go, leading to either a $1 buy-in On Demand Sit & Go or a $1.50 multi-table tournament (MTT), which is Step 2.
