The Maltese Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) has suspended PIVGame’s license and directed it to suspend all gaming operations, cease to register new players, and not take any further deposits.

PIVGame’s single wallet multiple network model failed in June and the network closed. Players were left with a set of unattractive options, including transferring to a Play2B site where they could only cash out following the achievement of individual rake requirements.

A 2+2 thread was started to track unpaid player balances, with the current amount owed estimated at over €1m.

The LGA announcement explicitly states that: “PIVGame is therefore not authorised to continue conducting gaming by means of distance communications under an Authority licence.”

Players with outstanding balances have been invited to contact the LGA directly at complaints.lga@lga.org.mt, submitting the following information:

  1. Name and Surname;
  2. Registered Address;
  3. Date of Birth;
  4. Copy of Passport or ID Card;
  5. Telephone Number;
  6. User Name; and
  7. Screenshot of Balance or any pending Cash Outs (if not available an estimated balance is to be submitted).
