After a series of high-profile cheating incidents, AceGuardian Research has decided to open up its anti-cheat software to the world.
The idea is to give both operators and players a way to detect 'superusers’ — players who have exploited security holes to see their opponents’ hole cards.
The announcement came after a Trojan was discovered in compromised poker software, allowing an attacker to remotely view players’ screens.
According to PokerNews, 'over two dozen high-stakes online poker players’ were affected. Jurojin Poker and IntuitiveTables were identified as the compromised tools.
