Usually, you’d have to dish out $109 to have a shot at a share of the six-figure prize pool, but the Mystery Bounty Main Event on December 21 will only cost you $55 to enter.
As is evident from the name, the tournament plays out in the popular Mystery Bounty format, which means that knocking out another player once the event is in the ITM stage will result in a bounty. There are all sorts of cash amounts hiding in virtual envelopes, but it’s the big $10,000 one that everyone will be keeping their fingers crossed for.
Of course, there are still regular satellites running, offering a chance to get your seat at a serious discount. And with the buy-in price slashed in half for this week, qualifying becomes much easier as well, so why not give it a shot?
An Action-Packed Week Ahead
In addition to the Main Event, there are 18 other tournaments that will see their original buy-ins reduced. A majority of MTTs are bounties, but there are also three traditional events included in the Holiday Sale schedule.
Speaking of buy-ins, the spread is quite wide, catering to different bankrolls. There are several $11 tournaments with $10,000 guarantees, which represent great value for money. On the other side of the spectrum, the most expensive event is the $265 Big Shot, reduced from its usual price of $525, but maintaining its hefty $30,000 guarantee.
