The wait is finally over. BetRivers Poker has announced its much-anticipated and very first tournament series.
Fittingly titled the Multi-State Summer Series (MSS), the inaugural festival will run from August 1 through August 10, offering over $200,000 in guaranteed prize money across ten days of action-packed events. The series is open to players from all four states where BetRivers Poker operates in: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, and West Virginia.
This has been a long wait for BetRivers Poker players, especially for Pennsylvania online poker players. BetRivers launched its online poker platform in late October, but until now, the operator had not run a tournament series—something that is typically standard among online poker sites to drive engagement and increase traffic.
With Delaware, Michigan, and West Virginia joining the BetRivers Poker shared liquidity network on June 10, player pools and liquidity have doubled and even tripled. Taking advantage of this expanded network, the operator has wasted no time in launching its first-ever multi-state tournament series.
The BetRivers MSS will feature 36 unique events, each with two tiers—Gold and Silver—bringing the total to 72 tournaments. Six tournaments will run daily, with buy-ins starting as low as $1 and going up to $250, ensuring options for players across all bankroll levels.

BetRivers Poker MultiState Series Overview:
- Runs from August 1 to 10
- Over $200,000 in guaranteed prize money
- 72 tournaments with $1 to $250
- $30,000 Main Event
- Gold and Silver Leaderboards
Marquee Events and Key Highlights
The crown jewel of the series is the Multistate Main Event, carrying a $200 buy-in and a generous $30,000 guarantee—double the usual offering. There is also a Mini Main Event priced at $20, boasting a $6,000 guarantee.
The Main Event may be the biggest draw, but the schedule is packed with BetRivers’ signature tournaments. Favorites like the Benjamin, Monsterstack, Deepstack, Midnight Madness, and Rush all make an appearance with boosted guarantees.
The series kicks off with an Opener event featuring a $50 buy-in and a $5,000 guarantee, along with a $5 mini version offering a $1,000 prize pool. The $100 Benjamin 6-Max comes with a $7,500 guarantee, while its smaller $10 tier awards $1,250. Each day ends with a turbo-format Rush tournament—$20 buy-in for $1,500 guaranteed, and $2 buy-in for $250 guaranteed.
This daily schedule pattern continues throughout the series, with weekends featuring up to eight events per day, typically starting with a slower structure and ending with fast-paced turbo or hyper formats.
Diverse Formats, But No Bounties Yet
The schedule also includes a $250 High Roller with a $10,000 guarantee, along with multiple Pot-Limit Omaha events, deepstack and monsterstack formats, and even a few tournaments that begin with just 50 big blinds. However, bounty tournaments—including progressive knockouts and mystery bounties—are currently absent, as BetRivers Poker does not yet support these formats.
On Sunday, August 3, the site will host its biggest weekly tournament to date: a $100 buy-in Sunday Main Event with a $20,000 guarantee. The same event drew 191 entries last week and generated a prize pool of $17,668. On August 10, the regular Sunday Main will be replaced by the $200 Multistate Main Event.
The winner of the Gold-tier Main Event will also receive a special MSS Trophy, adding a tangible reward to go with the prize money.
Leaderboards, Satellites & Promotions
Satellites will be available for most events, including both Main Events. Additionally, players can compete on Gold and Silver leaderboards, which will award over $5,000 in extra prizes. The top 10 finishers on each leaderboard will win up to $1,000, with the Gold Tier paying out $5,100 and the Silver Tier offering $510 as well as a special Trophy. The leaderboards will be updated daily.
Prior to the start of the series, Phil Galfond, the main face of BetRivers Poker, will livestream his play on July 25 and 26 via his official YouTube channel. He is expected to play both tournaments and cash games.
As part of the celebration, BetRivers Poker will boost the guarantees of any tournament Galfond enters. The site will also revive its “I Knocked Out a VIP” promotion, awarding a T-shirt to any player who knocks him out during the stream.
Outside of MSS, BetRivers Poker continues to offer several promotions, including:
- Cash game leaderboards
- SNG Startup, awarding Sit & Go tickets
- Rung It Up, where players can win up to $111 in tournament tickets each week
- A generous rakeback program for regular players
