888poker Reveals Full Schedule for Its Final LIVE Festival in London

This year’s 888poker LIVE season will officially come to an end with a major 11-day poker festival taking place at the legendary VIC Casino in London. While we already knew the season-ending event would be taking place Sep 4 — 14, the operator has now released all the details, including the full schedule for the 888poker LIVE London festival.

The Grosvenor Victoria Casino, better known by its nickname The VIC, has played host to countless poker events over the years. The venue’s halls have seen some of the best players in the world, and the poker room has witnessed some of the most epic showdowns in the history of the game.

While 888poker’s events are always fashioned in a way to make them affordable to casual players, all those who decide to visit London in September will get to enjoy a truly memorable experience in one of Europe’s poker capitals.

£250k up for Grabs in The Main Event

The £1,250 London Main Event will end the LIVE season in style, offering a massive guarantee of £250,000. The tournament should easily surpass that guarantee, however, with many qualifiers winning their seats playing online and many more taking advantage of live satellites scheduled during the festival.

There will be two starting flights for the Main Event, taking place on September 11 and 12, both kicking off at 12:00 pm GMT. Day 2 takes place on Sep 13, with the tournament playing down to the winner on Day 3 on Sunday, Sep 14.

Adding to the excitement is the fact that the Main Event action will be streamed live on the 888pokerTV Twitch channel. The coverage starts as soon as cards get in the air on September 10, giving all players a chance to feel what it’s like to play under the bright lights of TV cameras.

Colorful Schedule of Side Events

As is always the case with 888poker festivals, there is a rich schedule of tournaments surrounding the Main Event. With buy-ins starting as low as £220 (and satellites to more expensive events even more affordable), there will be something for everyone to sink their teeth into in London.

In addition to a host of standard Hold’em tournaments, players can look forward to the operator’s trademark mystery bounties, and there are even a couple of PLO tournaments on the docket for a nice change of pace.

Live satellites will be available for the Main Event as well as the £1,650 High Roller tournament. All of these will be played in the ‘Cashout’ format, where players qualify for a seat as soon as their stack reaches a certain number of chips.
