The World Series of Poker (WSOP) does not frequently roll out promotions, but when it does, they tend to stand out.

Its latest initiative is the Vlogger Program, a campaign that leverages the YouTube platform to engage content creators.

The program, launched on Thursday, August 28, incentivizes vloggers to showcase WSOP events on their channels, offering a range of benefits in return. These include entries to WSOP Circuit and Bracelet events, as well as the opportunity to earn cash rewards based on viewership milestones.

The program is open to creators who meet certain eligibility requirements. To qualify, vloggers must operate an active YouTube channel with at least 5,000 subscribers. In addition, the majority of their content, at least 60% must be focused on poker. Applicants also need to be at least 18 years of age.

Once accepted, participants gain access to a tiered benefits system that scales with their audience size. Smaller channels in the Emerging Vlogger category, with between 5,000 and 25,000 subscribers, receive tickets to Circuit Ring events worth up to $3,000 per stop, including WSOP Paradise 2025. Mid-level creators in the Rising Vlogger tier, with 25,000 to 100,000 subscribers, earn the same tournament entries along with complimentary hotel stays.

More established creators stand to gain additional perks. Those with over 100,000 subscribers receive entries into either Circuit Ring or Bracelet events, valued at up to $30,000, and are offered suite accommodations. At the highest level, the Elite Vlogger tier, reserved for creators with more than 250,000 subscribers, comes with a customized annual package and exclusive benefits tailored to their profile.

In addition to the tier-based rewards, all participants receive a WSOP Media Pass. Those in the Rising Vlogger tier and above are also eligible for a performance-based incentive program, which offers cash bonuses tied to video viewership one month after release.

Creators whose videos reach 1 million views within that period earn a $5,000 bonus, while those achieving 2.5 million views receive $10,000.

WSOP is also extending creative support to vloggers in the Established tier and higher, providing access to professional video editors who can assist with producing and polishing their content.

The program comes with clear rules around branding and content. Creators must produce a minimum of three separate episodes totaling at least 30 minutes to be published within one month of the event. They are prohibited from featuring third-party sponsorships in the vlogs and cannot wear or display the branding of other poker companies, even if they hold existing deals with those brands.

As part of the launch, WSOP has already spotlighted four poker vloggers who are actively covering its events. Among them is Daniel Negreanu, known on YouTube as DNegsPoker, one of the most recognizable figures in the industry. Also featured is Lexy Gavin Poker, a professional player and content creator with a growing online presence.

The other two highlighted vloggers are Frankie C. Poker and Correy Eyring, both of whom regularly share poker-focused content with their audiences on YouTube.

In Step with GGPoker

Interestingly, the launch of WSOP’s Vlogger Program comes shortly after its sister brand, GGPoker, introduced a new feature designed to incentivize poker streamers. Known as Streamer Mode, the tool provides approved streamers with 100% cashback and additional perks aimed at supporting the development of their personal brand and streaming career.

To qualify, applicants must apply through talent@ggpoker.com and meet certain criteria. These include having streamed poker content on either YouTube or Twitch for at least three months and averaging a minimum of 40 concurrent viewers.

Both initiatives share a common goal: to reward content creators who help promote poker to wider audiences. While GGPoker’s program is geared toward livestreamers on platforms like Twitch and YouTube, WSOP’s Vlogger Program targets creators producing recorded content focused on its live events.

The timing also reflects broader changes at WSOP under its new ownership. The brand is now operated by NSUS Group, the parent company of GGPoker, which acquired WSOP last year in a deal valued at half a billion dollars. Since then, WSOP has refreshed its website, introduced the WSOP Plus app, and rolled out new promotional initiatives such as this one.
