The wait is over, as the World Poker Tour and Wynn have revealed the full schedule for the 2025 WPT World Championship Festival that is set to take place December 2 — 22 at the luxurious Las Vegas property.
In total, there will be 78 tournaments (including satellites) spread across three weeks of action, with buy-ins starting as low as $600. On the opposite end of the spectrum, high rollers will have opportunities to enter events costing as much as $25,800, so the end-of-year series will feature something for everyone.
In addition to the $10,400 WPT World Championship and the $1,100 WPT Prime Championship (that comes with a guarantee of $5,000,000), players will have plenty of side events to keep them occupied, including several new additions compared to last year.
2025 WPT World Championship Full Schedule
The full schedule for the 2025 WPT World Championship comprises 78 tournaments, which include numerous satellites with buy-ins starting as low as $200. This means that players visiting the event will have ample opportunities to get their seats in more expensive events even if their bankrolls don’t quite allow for a direct buy-in.
This year’s festival brings colorful action in terms of buy-ins and game variety alike. In addition to traditional No Limit Hold’em events, there will be Mystery Bounties on the menu, as well as several events featuring variations such as PLO, PLO5, HORSE, TORSE, Big O, and Triple Draw.

Highlight Events at the 2025 WPT World Championship
Wynn Las Vegas will certainly be buzzing with action come December, with several tournaments kicking off and/or continuing every single day. That said, just like with any tournament series, there are a few events that will be at the center of attention for players and members of poker media alike.
First of all, there are two Championship events. The 2025 WPT Prime Championship will once again feature a hefty $5,000,000 guarantee, and there is every chance that guarantee will be broken. The $10,400 WPT World Championship comes with no guarantee attached, but there is no doubt that the prestige of this event will attract some of the biggest names in the game.
Beyond the big two, WPT is bringing back several popular events from last year, such as:
- $800 Opening Event (Dec 2 — 6) with $1,000,000 GTD
- A couple of $1,600 events with $1,000,000 GTD (Dec 5 — 7 & 20 — 22)
- A $3,000 buy-in event with $3,000,000 GTD
- $1,100 Ladies Championship (Dec 13 — 14) with $250,000 GTD
- $1,100 Seniors Championship (Dec 18 — 20) with $500,000 GTD
- $10,000 Seniors High Roller (Dec 20 — 22) with $500,000 GTD
In addition to these, organizers are introducing a few completely new events to the 2025 schedule, including a $1,600 PLO Mystery Bounty and a $1,100 tournament with a generous guarantee of $2,000,000.
All in all, the 2025 WPT World Championship Festival is poised to bring action for all players, from casuals looking for a shot at a big score to experienced grinders looking to leave their mark on poker history.
