Emerging US online poker room BetRivers Poker has announced details of its newest tournament festival, the BetRivers Spring Championship (BSC), which will run for 15 days from February 22 through March 8.

This marks the operator’s second Championship-branded festival and its fourth tournament series overall. As with the previous Championship series held in September–October, the Spring Championship comes with total guarantees slightly above $500,000.

The guaranteed prize pool is distributed across *44 unique events, each offered in 2 buy-in levels*—Silver and Gold—resulting in a total of 88 tournaments. This dual-tier structure widens the series’ appeal, giving recreational players and higher-stakes regulars alike multiple opportunities to compete for titles throughout the schedule.

The series is available to players across all four states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Delaware, and West Virginia, the latter two where BetRivers Poker is the only option for regulated online poker.

Championship Series Highlights

Buy-ins span from $5 to $500, though most tournaments are priced at $100 or below. The series lineup covers a wide range of popular formats, including PKOs, Deepstacks, Turbos, Classic freezeouts, and several PLO events in both 6-handed and 8-handed structures. Added variety comes through specialty formats such as Big Bounty PKOs, where an estimated 75% of the buy-in feeds the bounty pool, and Speedbag PKOs that begin with 50 big blinds.

While the previous Championship series featured 112 tournaments, the Spring Championship trims that number to 88 events. As a result, the average guarantee per tournament has increased from $4,870 to $5,856, representing a 20% jump in average prize money per event.

In addition to higher average guarantees, the Spring Championship significantly expands its trophy offerings. Instead of limiting trophies to select designated events, every tournament winner during the series will now receive a trophy, including winners of lower buy-in events. This means at least 88 exclusive BetRivers Spring Championship trophies will be awarded across the series.

An additional trophy will also be up for grabs through the Player of the Series leaderboard, which will run concurrently with the festival and reward consistent performance across multiple events.

Several headline tournaments stand out on the schedule. The centerpiece is the Main Event on March 8, featuring a $200 buy-in and a $40,000 guarantee, the largest single guarantee ever offered by the operator. A Mini Main Event will run alongside it, priced at $20 with a $6,000 guarantee.

Beyond the Main Events, the opening day on Sunday, February 22, kicks off with the Series Starter events, available at $100 and $10 buy-ins and guaranteeing $17,500 and $3,000, respectively. These are followed by the Sunday Superstack tournaments, offering buy-ins of $200 and $20 and guarantees of $20,000 and $4,000.

On March 1, higher-stakes players can target the Super High Roller, which carries a $500 buy-in and a $25,000 guarantee, alongside a Silver-tier version costing $50 with $5,000 guaranteed. That same day also features the Sunday Classic, again offered at $200 and $20 buy-ins with guarantees of $15,000 and $4,000.

The closing day includes another notable addition alongside the Main Event: a $100 Series Saver with $10,000 guaranteed.

Throughout the series, players will have access to daily satellites and step tournaments, providing lower-cost pathways into higher buy-in events.

Hundreds of Tickets to Be Given Away

In addition to standard satellites, players can earn Spring Championship and BSC tickets through a dedicated pre-series promotion. Known as the Road to the Spring Championship, this campaign launched on February 8 and runs through February 21, awarding tickets ahead of the festival’s start.

Participation is straightforward: players earn 1 draw entry for every 2 real-money MTT entries they play. Entries are tracked separately across 3 buy-in tiers—Low, Medium, and High. Weekly draws are conducted for each tier, with tickets credited within 96 hours of the draw’s completion. No opt-in is required.

Each promotional week distributes $10,000 in Spring Championship satellite tickets, divided across the following tiers:

  • Low tier ($1 – $5 buy-ins):
    • $2,000 worth of tickets
    • 200 winners
  • Medium Tier ($10 – $30 buy-ins):
    • $3,000 worth of tickets
    • 200 winners
  • High Tier (+$50 buy-ins):
    • $5,000 worth of tickets
    • 200 winners

In total, 600 tickets are awarded per week, usable for Spring Championship satellites or for direct entry into BSC tournaments.

Additional promotions are expected both leading up to and during the series, including Series Leaderboards and Early Bird Daily Ticket Drops.
