Spring is in full swing, and for many, this is a great time to plan their outdoor trips, looking to absorb those sweet rays of warm sun after the long winter. For poker players, however, seasons don’t matter as much because finding good online action trumps everything else.
In that light, 888poker is celebrating the change of seasons in its own style, rolling out a new edition of its popular XL Spring Series. Running May 3 — 12, the series once again brings action for all bankrolls and preferences and offers at least $1.5 million in prizes up for grabs.
The action will be fast and furious, and everyone’s invited to join the action, with freeroll satellites and non-stop qualifiers starting for as little as $0.01. The Main Event alone comes with a massive $500k guarantee, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
2026 XL Spring Series Highlights
This year’s XL Spring Series at 888poker brings a host of tournaments for every bankroll. There are 60 numbered events on the docket, alongside numerous side events. There are about a dozen XL Spring tournaments running every single day between May 3 and 12.
At the center of the schedule is the $250 Rakeless Main Event. The tournament offers a guarantee of $*500,000* and, as the name suggests, it will be taking no rake from the players, so the entire value of each buy-in is added straight into the prize pool.
The tournament will play out in the popular Mystery Bounty format, and there are multiple Day 1 flights taking place every single day from May 3 onwards. Day 2 action takes place on May 11, while the final table plays out on May 12, the last day of the series.
For those with smaller bankrolls, 888poker is rolling out the Mini version of the Main Event. This one comes with a buy-in of $25 and a very solid guarantee of $50,000. There are multiple Day 1 flights available for the duration of the series, with the final action taking place on May 11.
However, the 2026 XL Spring Series won’t just end on a strong note. It also starts with a tournament that’s well worth your attention. The Opening Event on May 3 (Event #6) is another rakeless tournament with a $109 buy-in and a $100k guarantee.
