In case you’ve missed the news, 888poker has been releasing its WSOP mini-series over the last few weeks, and four out of a total of five episodes are now available to watch on the operator’s YouTube channel.

The series follows five 888poker ambassadors on their 2026 WSOP Main Event journey, starting with preparations and arrival in Las Vegas. While all five have the dream of winning, the way they approach the tournament and what the Main Event means to them differs a lot.

There is a lot of content surrounding the World Series of Poker, but this mini-series stands out as it provides rather unique and personal views from the players and focuses more on the human side of things rather than strategy.

Coming to Vegas & Main Event Jitters

The very first episode of the series gave us a behind-the-scenes view of how players prepare for the Main Event and what they like to do to get in the zone.

Some were already in Vegas, grinding hard, while others packed their bags and arrived in Sin City just a few days before the tournament. Some of them have a huge amount of experience playing the Main Event (and live tournaments in general), while others do not.

The series finds a way to nicely highlight these contrasts and show that, while all five ambassadors share the same passion for the game, their approach and routines can differ quite a bit.

The second episode, named Shuffle Up & Deal, marks the beginning of the Main Event as Lucia Navarro, Ian Simpson, Vivian Saliba, Aaron Barone, and Nick Eastwood take their seats at the tables.

The episode follows their individual journeys through Day 1 of the tournament. Four of five players make it through to Day 2, as Ian Simpson is the only one to make an early exit. Lucia Navarro manages to more than double her starting stack, and Aaron Barone finishes with a few extra chips as well.

Episode 3, Calm Before the Storm, is all about the team unplugging for a little while before they have to get back in action. They gather their thoughts, enjoy some of the amenities of Las Vegas, and share their emotions with the audience.

The Grind Begins

The four ambassadors all return to action for Day 2 of the WSOP Main Event in the fourth episode that was published on 888poker’s YouTube channel over the weekend.

The Main Event is a long journey filled with unexpected twists and turns, and this episode perfectly captures the essence of the tournament. There are big, tournament-defining moments, heartbreaking coolers, and everything in between — alongside the emotions that come with it.

While two of the four were eliminated along the way, Lucia Navarro and Aaron Barone manage to outmaneuver their opposition and find the bag for Day 3. Barone ends the day with a fair few chips, which, as you might already know, would help him make a very deep run at this year’s tournament.

The fifth and final episode of this great WSOP docuseries will be coming soon, bringing the 2026 Main Event story to its natural finish. In the meantime, you can catch up with the series that gives you a real opportunity to experience the biggest poker event through the eyes of experienced professionals who live and breathe the game that we all love so much.
