There will be gold bracelets for Ontario online poker players as well!
WSOP, which only set foot in the regulated Ontario online poker market two weeks ago, will run its esteemed online bracelet events in its new market, pokerfuse can exclusively reveal.
While nothing has been officially announced yet, pokerfuse has spotted that gold bracelet events have been deployed on the new WSOP Ontario poker client, powered by GGPoker.
Three WSOP online bracelets will be on offer for Ontarians, giving them a chance to win the coveted gold jewelry from the comforts of their home. Besides the bling, the operator has slapped $450,000 in combined guarantees across these three prestigious tournaments.

These will kick off shortly after the ongoing WSOP Ontario Online Circuit Series ends, with the first of the three bracelet events kicking off on October 17.
Event #1: Big 150 Ontario NLHE MILLION$, a CAD $150 buy-in, will run as a Flight event, featuring multiple Day 1s and a nice juicy guarantee of CAD $100,000. Its Final Day will take place on Sunday, October 23.
This will be followed by another Flight event but will cater to players who love Pot-Limit Omaha. This one is named Event #2: PLO Bounty MILLION$, boasting CAD $100,000 for a buy-in of $210. Half of the buy-in will be allocated to the bounty pool, and the remaining half to the regular prize pool. Its Final Day will take place on October 30.
Last but not least, GGPoker’s marquee Freezeout tournament brand GGMasters will make its grand debut on October 30 with a buy-in of $1050 and a massive guarantee of $250,000. The event is billed as the Online Championship. Since it will be played as a freezeout, every player will get only one bullet to reach the money.
The online bracelet events will only be available to players physically in Ontario. While the prize pools won’t be as big as one might find in the dot-com market, the silver lining is that Ontarians would have a higher chance to win a bracelet as they will only have to compete with those that are in the province rather than globally.

But these won’t be the only events that will run. To accompany the bracelet events, WSOP Ontario will also run plenty of side events, with buy-ins starting at $25 and going up to $525. Each of these side events will carry a guarantee that starts at a decent $2500 prize amount and tops at $12,000.

WSOP’s Aggressive Entry in Ontario
WSOP, in association with GGPoker, is among the last poker operators to enter the regulated Ontario market. Still, the duo has exploded out of the gates with generous welcome offers, freerolls, and exciting promotions to seize a chunk of the new market.
Immediately after going live, it launched Ontario’s first-ever WSOP Online Circuit Series, boasting CAD $2.5 million in guaranteed prize money — the most extensive tournament series in the regulated market. 12 WSOP Gold Circuit Ring events and dozens of side events are on offer for WSOP Ontario players, including a $250,000 guaranteed Main Event culminating this Sunday, October 16.
At the time of writing, nine ring events have concluded, producing $700,000 in prize money with an average of about $80,000 per event. A few of these events have fallen short of their guarantees, leading to overlays and offering decent value to those that participated.
But the big test will be this Sunday. The Main, with a guarantee of $250,000 — the largest guaranteed tournament in the brief history of Ontario — will take place. At the time of writing, the tournament is overlaying by close to $100,000. The tournament could likely miss its guarantee, leaving players to enjoy a decent EV.
The WSOP Ontario Online Bracelet Series runs from October 17 to October 30, featuring three bracelets and plenty of side events.
