Love PKO's? Want a WSOP Online Bracelet? This Weekend is For You. Love PKO's? Want a WSOP Online Bracelet? This Weekend is For You.

Three World Series of Poker (WSOP) online gold bracelets are up for grabs this weekend. All three start on June 11 on WSOP MI, WSOP PA, and the combined WSOP NJ & WSOP NV network.

  • Players in PA: $400 NL Hold’em PKO 8-Max: 6.30pm EST
  • Players in MI: $400 NL Hold’em PKO 8-Max: 6.30pm EST
  • Players in NV and NJ: $400 NL Hold’em 8-Max: 6.30pm EST and 3.30pm PST

Sunday’s slate is made up of two $400 NL Hold 'em PKO 8-Max events that will play out in PA and MI with start times of 6:30 pm EST and a $400 NL Hold 'em 8-Max event for players in Nevada and New Jersey that starts at 7:30 pm EST.

With a $400 buy-in across all markets, this event is one of the cheapest events for the remainder of the series. After this weekend, buy-ins increase to the $500 to $600 mark with only one $300 buy-in tournament left — so this weekend marks good value for WSOP online events.

It is the only time during the entire series that a PKO (progressive knockout) tournament is running — so poker players who enjoy playing that variant, now is your time! For players who might not be sure what a PKO is, it is a tournament where a bounty is activated for every player knocked out. The rewards increase in value as the tournament progresses.

Originally, WSOP had scheduled a second PKO tournament to run in PA and MI markets later this month, but it has since been replaced with a Mystery Bounty tournament, which will run on June 25.

The Mystery Bounty format is similar to that of a PKO, but instead of bounties that steadily increase the deeper the run, the bounties are randomized — so a player will not know their reward until the end.

Due to the older WSOP online software that runs in New Jersey and Nevada, no PKOs are offered to players in that market.

Play Against 2006 WSOP Main Event Winner Jamie Gold This Weekend

The 2006 Main Event winner will also take to the tables this weekend as he hunts for WSOP gold glory. Not only might you see him at the online tables, but WSOP has also laid on a Go for Gold promo, helping players in NV and NJ win big.

Players who last longer than Gold in each online bracelet event will earn entries into a draw that will send the ultimate winner to a $50,000 Freeroll in Las Vegas. The freeroll will take place live in Vegas at the WSOP on July 5.

Each week a player successfully outlasts Jamie, they will earn additional entries into the draw for the freeroll. This exciting promotion provides an excellent opportunity to go head-to-head with one of poker’s finest and secure a $50,000 buy-in event seat.

But that’s not all! WSOP also gives players a second chance each Sunday to earn another entry into the draw for their seat in the $50,000 Freeroll.

Players must participate in WSOP online cash games between 3:30 pm PT and 11:30 pm PT and earn a minimum of 10 APPs (Action Player Points) to qualify for one entry. This means that even if you don’t outlast Jamie in the Online Bracelet Events, you still have a shot at the $50,000 Freeroll.

There is a first-place prize of $25,000 for those who make it that far.

Don’t forget Gold outlasted a field of 8,772 players in 2006, so expect him to put up a good fight.

Every Sunday that Jamie Gold plays, he will also be streaming live. Check out his streaming schedule below:

  • June 11, 2023 – $400 NL Hold’em at 3:30 pm PT
  • June 18, 2023 – $500 NL Hold 'em Turbo at 3:30 pm PT
  • June 25, 2023 – $400 NL Hold 'em Ultra Deepstack at 3:30 pm PT
