First 6-Max Event of the Season in NJ and MI

PokerStars is doing its best to make 25 Days of Tournaments as exciting and unpredictable as possible, and this time around, they’ve gone and done it by introducing a new game format into the mix.

Tomorrow night’s events at PokerStars MI and PokerStars NJ will be played at 7:30 pm ET sharp, with $10 and $50 buy-ins on offer, and the game in question will be 6-Max No-Limit Hold’em with regular speed blinds.

This means you will get more time to play than in the previous days while also playing against fewer players at each table, giving you more of a chance to get creative and show off your skills.

Another unique thing about tomorrow’s events is that they will be freezeouts, which means for the first time this season, you won’t be able to re-enter if you bust out. This will force players to protect their stacks and play more carefully, which is what tournament poker used to be all about.

More $1k Weekly Freeroll tickets will be given out for Friday’s special event, while another Daily $100 Freeroll will be played in the hours leading up to the night’s main events.

More Freezeout Action over in PA

Pennsylvania online poker players will also get to try their hand at a somewhat obsolete freezeout format, as tomorrow’s events at PokerStars PA will also feature the 6-Max NLH Freezeout format.

The PA player pool will also get to pick between the $10 and $50 buy-in levels (or play in both), with $1k Weekly Freeroll tickets up for grabs.

Remember that this week’s Freeroll is quickly approaching, and tomorrow night could be your last opportunity to win the tickets, so don’t hesitate to jump into one or both of the freezeouts and battle it out for your spot in the special weekly event.

Ontario Players Play 6+ Hold’em Tomorrow

The biggest surprise of the day certainly comes from PokerStars Ontario, with the operator changing not just the game format but the game itself.

Unlike players in MI, NJ, and PA, who will still compete at your classic Texas Hold’em Poker, Ontario players will get to play 6+ Hold’em for the first time during the 25 Days of Tournaments.

The $10 and $50 events will be played at 6-Max tables, but introducing a new game format is bound to stir things up.

Not only is 6+ Hold’em a new game for those playing the promotion, but it’s also one that many poker players have never really had a chance to play.

It will be an exciting evening of action at PokerStars Ontario as players look to win their Weekly Freeroll tickets. The operator will randomly give tickets away to players registered in the tournament, which means everyone will have the same shot, regardless of skill level, giving you plenty of incentive to register early and have every chance to receive your ticket.
