Episode 5 of 888poker’s WSOP docu-series is dropping this Saturday.
One player who’ll be in the focus is Aaron Barone, the 888poker ambassador who mastered the deepest run in this year’s Main Event.
Garrett Adelstein played one of the worst hands of his career against none other than Daniel Negreanu.
Apparently, it was a bluff gone wrong, and that hand had a profound effect on Garrett, as it took him a while to get back to his old self.
There is still time to get through to Phase 2 of the 20th Anniversary Sunday Million.
If you haven’t secured your seat just yet, you have until Sunday to do so.
Hustler Casino Live brings Thursday night fever.
It won’t be easy to get back to watching normal stakes after everything we witnessed over the past week or so, but it’s back to the regular programming for the time being, and HCL is hosting its Thursday night fever tonight.
It’s Day 1A of the Maryland State Poker Championship Main Event.
The tournament features a big $500,000 guarantee, and we expect that guarantee will be shattered by the time the play is done across all Day 1 flights.
Andrew Robl had a blast playing on the High Stakes Poker.
Robl is no stranger to high-stakes games, so he was certainly in a familiar territory playing crazy seven-figure pots last week. And, win or lose, he always stays positive, which is probably why he gets invited to some of the best games out there.
Are you looking for some quality tournament action in Vegas?
The DeepStack Extravaganza is happening right now at the Venetian, there is a one-day HORSE event on the docket at the Bellagio this Sunday, and more.
Summer has given way to fall, but value is on the rise in Las Vegas this week, as tournament poker continues to thrive in Sin City. The 2026 WCOOP kicks off this Sunday.
The worlds largest online tournament series is about to get rolling, bringing 350 championship events.
Just a quick tip on isolating limpers in live cash games.
Low-stakes live games are notorious for players limping in, trying to see cheap flops. You should know how to isolate one or two of them and put yourself in a spot to win some big pots.
This could be the best meet-up game in history of meet-up games.
A few lucky online qualifiers for the WSOP Super Circuit Main Event get a chance to sit down with the legends like Daniel Negreanu, Michael 'The Grinder’ Mizrachi, Andy Stacks, and more.
This is one pairing that everyone will be looking out for!
Nick Schulman has paired up with Eric Wasserson for the upcoming Triton Invitational. Talk about the dream team!
The poker dream is much harder to obtain these days according to Alex Fitzgerald.
The world has changed a lot over the last decade. Just existing these days costs a fair chunk of change, so the decision to chase the poker dream is no longer as simple as it used to be.
The WSOP Super Circuit in Montreal on pace to break the record.
By the looks of it, the WSOP Super Circuit at Playground Casino in Montreal will officially become the largest live poker series in Canada’s history.

This was an interesting spot with pocket aces.
This hand is a great reminder that, in live games, a lot of it comes down to reads and adjusting your play against a particular player. That said, do you think the turn decision by the hero was overly ambitious or do you play it the same way?
Do you agree with this list of top 10 players in the history of high stakes games?
Some of these names are no-brainers, but there are a few solid substitutes out there, too.
New tournament series is coming to PokerStars on FanDuel, both in the US and Ontario.
While some of the details are still to be revealed the next week,
PokerStars on FanDuel has announced its September Dynasty Series, which brings 100 events and $3.5 million in guarantees to the US players and 60+ tournaments to the Ontario platform.
Between the two platforms, the operator will host over 160 individual events, with the US series set to dish out at least $3,500,000 in prize money.
Is all the money we saw flying across the felt on High Stakes Poker real?
Following the craziest week of televised high stakes poker that saw a bunch of seven-figure pots and a record-breaking $4.2 million pot, some in the poker community have been asking if all of it is real. These doubts are unfounded but not unexpected as for most of us, it’s just crazy to see people blasting off a couple of million on an air-ball bluff.
Texas Mike responds to doubts over whether High Stakes Poker’s million-dollar pots are real after a record-breaking $4.26M hand.
Texas Mike apologizes for calling out Eric Wasserson on stream.
Now that the emotions have dropped off a bit, Texas Mike took to X to issue an official apology for calling out Wasserson’s river tank in a huge pot a 'nit roll.’ Given the situation and his usual demeanor at the table, nobody really held it against Mike, but the fact he decided to apologize just the same shows he is a class act and it’s one of the reasons why we love watching him play (his willingness to punt in the craziest of spots being another, of course).

Who were Garrett Adelstein’s toughest (and softest) opponents over the years?
Garrett joins Doug Polk to talk about the toughest five cash game opponents he had to face, plus the worst one, just for good measure. It’s an hour-long interview, so the two go into quite a bit of detail.

Poker, paella, and a dash of wisdom in Barcelona from the boys at The Chip Race.
EPT Barcelona returned, and so did the usual suspects: Dara O’Kearney and David Lappin.
Dara hit a hot streak, making the Seniors Event final table on his first try, improving on his previous eighth-place finish. He also takes a swing at everything from the Main to the side events, including a new tournament format that the video promises but never really explains.
David, meanwhile, gets in on the action during 'the cheap week’ before settling in for a marathon of livestream commentary with a rotating cast of poker personalities like James Hartigan and Jen Shahade.
The real wisdom, though, comes from Jason Koon, who talks about advice passed down from legends Phil Ivey and Erik Seidel:
'The best advice I ever got was to keep playing my game, no matter who was at the table.’
Turns out, writing about poker is as messy as playing it.
Garrett Adelstein’s memoir, 'Beneath the Cards,’ is more than just a retelling of his time at the felt. The interview covers how the infamous Jack4 hand served as the unlikely spark for the book, and how years of drafts and therapy notes shaped its story. According to Adelstein, even after all that, he still doesn’t feel like he has it all figured out.
He dives into his early days running up a million-dollar bankroll as a college student, only to lose almost all of it within six months. The conversation gets real about mental health, with Adelstein describing the cycles he went through and the emotional work it took to weather both poker’s swings and life’s bigger challenges.
'Harmony, not balance,’ is how Adelstein describes his approach to raising two kids while chasing poker glory. The interview touches on where he thinks the game is headed and why even the high stakes king doesn’t pretend to have all the answers.
If you’re looking for a neat ending, you won’t find it here. But you will get a rare look behind the curtain from someone who has seen both the highs and lows of the game.
Surviving Day 2 of the Main Event: more grind than glory.
WSOP Main Event Day 2 is supposedly when the pressure ramps up, and
888poker 's ambassadors seem to agree. The latest video follows them from the first hands of the morning to the last chip bagged, with the description promising heartbreaks and hero calls along the way.
The final night of HIGH STAKES POKER LIVE brings together some familiar faces to the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.
Players like Andrew Robl, Eric Wasserson, Texas Mike, and Alejandro 'Papo MC’ Lococo are all in for the $250,000 minimum, with blinds set at $500/$1,000 and a $5,000 big-blind ante. The stakes are as high as ever, with the commentary team of Ali Nejad and Nick Schulman calling the action.
Allen Kessler wrapped up his Vegas summer by winning the $400 Omaha-Stud event at his own Chainsaw Mixed Series of Poker.
After making two final tables at the WSOP , Kessler pocketed $2,725 at Caesars Palace, proving he can cash at his own party as easily as anyone else’s.
The Chainsaw continues his strong summer.
According to PokerNews, Daniel Negreanu’s Hustler Casino Live debut got off to a rough start.
After a summer of
WSOP wins, he seems to be making generous donations at the cash tables.
A brutal start to the session for "DNegs."

The rapid increase of

High Stakes Poker DID NOT DISAPPOINT .
Check out this insane pot for over $4 MILLION!
BetRivers Poker just marked its first year on a four-state network and has managed to snag a 10 percent share of the US regulated online poker market.
That’s up from 7.1 percent a year ago, and their revenue for July hit a record $900,000. Notably, BetRivers hasn’t even launched in
New Jersey yet, one of the biggest poker states, so their growth has come from markets like
Pennsylvania ,
Michigan ,
Delaware , and
West Virginia .
Despite still not going live in New Jersey, BetRivers continues to grow in both absolute revenue and market share in the US.
Guess who’s back?
