Poker players are rarely short of complaints about online poker promotions. The rewards could be bigger, the requirements could be easier, and there is usually something an operator could do better. Even a software update can leave regulars wondering why anything needed to change in the first place.
But PokerStars appears to have found something that players are genuinely enjoying.
The operator’s Ace Chase promotion, which rewards cash game players for winning hands with an Ace, has received positive feedback from players in PokerStars’ official Discord server. One player has even called for the promotion to stick around long term.
Originally scheduled to run for just three weeks, from October 1 to October 21, Ace Chase has since been extended through November 30, giving players another month to take advantage of the offer.

Players Want It to Stay
The comment appeared in PokerStars’ Discord feedback channel, where one player wrote: “Since this is the feedback channel… Ace chase is a good promotion, enjoying it, hopefully it sticks around long term.”
Another player praised the month’s rewards, writing, “this month’s rewards are great!” in reference to Ace Chase. A third player replied simply: “agree”.
It is a small sample of player feedback, but the comments are notable for their spontaneity. These are players taking the time to praise a promotion in a channel where they can just as easily complain about the operator’s decisions.
Cash game promotions are nothing new at PokerStars. The operator regularly offers incentives to players, but many are received as a welcome extra rather than something that generates much excitement. Ace Chase appears to have made a stronger impression, at least among the players who have commented on it publicly.
How Ace Chase Works
Ace Chase launched on October 1 and is available in No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha cash games on the PokerStars network. Players can win cash prizes through two daily challenges, with the operator advertising up to $2,500 in potential daily winnings.
The first is a daily leaderboard with a $3,000 prize pool. Players must win four hands while holding an Ace to qualify, with each qualifying hand earning a randomized number of points. The player with the most points at the end of the day receives $500, with the remaining prizes distributed among other leaderboard finishers.
The second route is through Daily ICE Challenges, which give players a target for the number of Aces they need to collect. Completing the target unlocks a mystery cash prize worth up to 1,000 times the big blind, with a maximum payout of $2,000.
The two challenges give players different ways to earn rewards while playing their usual cash games. Rather than requiring them to enter a separate tournament or complete an entirely different activity, Ace Chase is tied directly to hands they are already playing.
“Being dealt an Ace is one of the most exciting moments at the poker table. With Ace Chase, an Ace isn’t just a strong card to hold — it could also put you in the running for daily cash prizes on the Ace Chase Leaderboard,” said Ashley Chase, PokerStars dot-com Poker Director.
The original October 21 end date would have given the promotion a relatively short run. Its extension through November 30 suggests PokerStars is willing to keep the offer available for longer, although the operator has not publicly explained the reason for the extension.
For players already enjoying the promotion, the extra time is welcome news. And if the comments in the Discord channel are any indication, at least some would be happy to see Ace Chase continue beyond its current end date.
