Finally, there’s a tournament series for PokerStars US & PokerStars Ontario online poker players and as we previously mentioned, the much-loved Fall Fest series is making its return.

Continuing its tradition of celebrating the holiday season across North America, the Fall Fest Series is back for the fifth consecutive year.

The Fall Fest 2025 edition runs from November 21 to December 1, featuring three distinct series taking place simultaneously. One caters to the shared liquidity network of New Jersey and Michigan, another is dedicated to the Pennsylvania online poker player pool, and the third is exclusive to Ontario online poker players. Each of the three boasts at least $500,000 in guaranteed prize money.

Both the shared liquidity network and Pennsylvania series feature half a million in guarantees, while the Ontario edition tops that with C$750,000 in total guarantees, equivalent to just over $535,000 USD. Altogether, the three networks combine for more than $1.5 million in guaranteed prize pools.

Fall Fest 2025 At a Glance:

  • Runs from November 21 to December 1
  • Three separate series
  • NJ/MI & PA both guarantee $500,000 while Ontario C$750,000
  • Buy-ins range from $5 to $500 in US; $1,000 in Ontario
  • 50 tournaments in each series

“Fall Fest is a celebration of the poker community,” said Kevin Emilio Luyo PokerStars North America Head of Poker. “As temperatures drop and players settle indoors, Fall Fest delivers a trusted tournament experience with festive formats and something for every bankroll. Whether you’re chasing a Main Event title, or enjoying holiday action, it’s the perfect seasonal return to poker.”

Each series includes 50 tournaments with buy-ins starting at $5 and going up to $500. Ontario players also get a High Roller Main Event featuring a C$1,000 buy-in.

Guarantees for individual tournaments in the US are yet to be revealed in the poker client, but PokerStars has confirmed they will be revealed closer to the series launch. As always, the Main Event serves as the centerpiece of all three series, offered at buy-ins of $200 and $30.

In Ontario, all events already list their guarantees: the C$200 Main Event promises C$100,000 in prize money, while its C$30 Mini Main offers a C$18,000 guarantee. For US online poker players, PokerStars has revealed $75,000 guarantees for the $200 Main Events across both the NJ/MI and PA networks.

Fall-Themed Poker Tournaments

Beyond the Main Events, the schedule includes several special fall-themed tournaments for PokerStars players in both the US and Ontario, such as:

  • Fall Brawls: A lineup of Progressive Knockout (PKO) and Mystery Bounty tournaments, with a dozen total events, most featuring $50 buy-ins, except for one Mini version priced at $10.
  • Thanksgiving Thrill: Running on Thanksgiving Thursday (November 27), this PKO event includes three tournaments with buy-ins of $30, $100, and $250.
  • Main Event Previews: A warm-up to the Main Event held the day before on Sunday, with a $100 buy-in, perfect for players looking to fine-tune their strategy.
  • Cyber Monday Stars: Wrapping up the series, this $10 buy-in event on the final day offers casual players and small bankrolls one last shot at a big win.

The broader schedule features a wide variety of formats, including PKOs, Mystery Bounties, Freezeouts, and Turbos, along with PokerStars’ signature Super Tuesday and Friday Night branded tournaments. Players can choose from 6-handed, 7-handed, and 8-handed tables. Omaha fans are also catered to, with events in standard four-card PLO, PL 5-Card Omaha, and NL 5-Card Omaha.

No series is complete without qualifiers, and Fall Fest 2025 will include plenty. Players will have the chance to win entry through satellites starting at just $1 or via special $3 Spin & Go Fall Fest editions offering seats to the $200 Main Event.

This marks the fifth installment of the Fall Fest series in the region. Last year’s edition came with bigger prize pools, as each network featured at least $750,000 in guaranteed money.

Fall Fest 2025 officially runs from November 21 to December 1.
