WSOP Online has long been known for its big-size tournaments and the opportunity to win coveted gold jewelry in the form of rings and bracelets.

However, when it comes to promotions tailored for cash game players, the platform has typically been quite limited, often restricting itself to just the recurring Card Strike promotion. And for those who prefer the Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) variant, seeing any dedicated promotion has been especially rare.

This month, though, WSOP Online has made a notable exception. In a move to celebrate its newly expanded Omaha lineup, the operator has unveiled a rare and exclusive cash game promotion specifically designed for PLO fans. The announcement follows the launch of 5-Card PLO and 6-Card PLO variants, both of which were recently introduced to the platform.

To celebrate the launch, WSOP Online has introduced a two-week-long campaign aptly titled PLO Cash Game Festival. Running until November 14, the festival features multiple promotional offers, including 50% rakeback, cash game challenges, Gift Drops, and even a 100% deposit bonus of up to $500.

Rakeback, Gift Drops, Deposit Bonus and Special Challenges

The first highlight of the festival is the 50% Rakeback Weekend, which takes place this Saturday and Sunday. From November 1 to 2, players can earn 50% rakeback on all PLO cash game action. Heads-Up PLO tables, however, are excluded. Eligible players will receive their rakeback automatically within 72 hours of the promotion’s conclusion.

Next is the Deposit Reload Bonus, available from November 1 to 14. Players who make a qualifying deposit using the code FEST25 will receive a 100% bonus up to $500. Reload deposit bonuses are not commonly offered in the US online poker market, but WSOP occasionally brings them back, so players are encouraged to take advantage while they can.

Also running throughout the two-week period are Gift Drops, which will occur randomly at PLO5 and PLO6 cash game tables. Lucky players could receive prizes such as BLAST tournament tickets and online event entries.

Finally, the operator will host the PLO Cash Game Challenges between November 1 and 14. These missions, available under the “My Challenges” tab, reward players for completing specific PLO-related objectives. While the exact nature of these challenges has not been revealed, they are expected to be customized based on each player’s profile and gameplay activity.

In total, the PLO Cash Game Festival includes four distinct promotions, three exclusive to PLO players and one (the reload bonus) open to everyone, including Hold’em enthusiasts.

The timing of these promotions coincides with WSOP Online’s recent introduction of 5-Card and 6-Card Omaha games.

The 5-Card PLO, also known as Big O, runs in a 6-handed table format, while the 6-Card Omaha plays out on 5-handed tables. Both variants follow the traditional Omaha rules, with the only difference being the number of hole cards dealt, five in the 5-Card version and six in the 6-Card version. As in standard Omaha, players must use exactly two hole cards and three community cards to make their best five-card hand.

These expanded Omaha formats have become increasingly popular in recent years. Operators across various markets, including sweepstakes sites like Stake US and Clubs Poker, have added them to their offerings. PokerStars in the US currently supports at least the 5-Card variant, while internationally it spreads both 5-Card and 6-Card PLO.

The appeal of these formats lies in their fast-paced and unpredictable nature. The additional hole cards lead to more balanced pre-flop equities, resulting in more multi-way pots and bigger post-flop action, producing massive hands far more frequently than in standard Omaha.

Bracelets, Rings, and Championships

Meanwhile, for tournament players, WSOP Online continues to host a busy schedule of major events. The fall edition of the Online Bracelet Series has been running since September 28 and will conclude on November 11. A total of 33 bracelets are up for grabs, with 23 already awarded.

The next event, Bracelet #24, takes place on November 1 and features a $500 NLHE tournament. Another highlight is the $1,000 NLH Online Championship on November 2, an event that traditionally draws a strong turnout.

Alongside the bracelets, the Online Championship Series is also underway, offering nearly $4 million in guaranteed prize pools. The series wraps up on November 9 with a $500 buy-in Main Event boasting a $200,000 guarantee.

Finally, from November 6 to 23, the Online Circuit Series returns for its November “Super Edition,” featuring 18 ring events and a total of $2.3 million in guarantees, including a $150,000 guaranteed Mystery Bounty and a $300,000 guaranteed Main Event.
