The BetRivers Poker Multi-State Summer Series reaches its halfway point this weekend, with 38 of the 96 total events already in the bag, and tens of thousands of dollars in prizes already paid out.
The Series started strong, with the $100 Event #1 – Series Starter exceeding its $12.5k guarantee and paying out $17,297, after 187 players ponied up the buy-in to take part in the opening event.
The $200 Event #2 – Summer Stack got even better, as the $18k guarantee was smashed and a total of $24,310 was paid out to the players.
Things were just as good in the Silver bracket of the Series, where as many as 319 players signed up to play in individual events, knocking the guarantees out of the ballpark and creating prize pools well in excess of expectations.

As the MSS goes into its first full weekend, there are a few major events to look forward to. The Saturday tournaments will serve as a warm-up for bigger and better things to come on Sunday, when the guarantees will reach new highs, and prize pools are expected to be even bigger than last Sunday’s.

Major action won’t stop with the weekend either, as each weekday next week offers multiple exciting events, with buy-ins ranging from $5 to $200, and guaranteed prize pools going as high as $12,000.
The real thrill comes next Sunday, when the $200 MSS Main Event brings a $35,000 guarantee, by far the biggest of the Series. For players with smaller bankrolls, a $20 version of the same event will offer a $6,000 guarantee, a substantial payout for a limited buy-in.
More than 50 events will be on the schedule over the next 10 days, guaranteeing non-stop action and plenty of opportunities for players to lift MSS trophies, accumulate leaderboard points, and win substantial cash prizes.
Competition Continues Across Two Leaderboards
One of the main reasons to play in the BetRivers Multi-State Summer Series is surely the two tournament leaderboards, each adding lots of extra value for players across the Silver and Gold tournament brackets.
While there are still many events to be played, the leaderboards are already beginning to take shape, and some players are already standing out as major favorites for the leaderboard prizes.
