The WSOP US Seat Sprint promotion — the biggest online poker satellite accessible to US players — is due to kick off this Sunday.
From June 25 to July 8, a whopping 112 WSOP 2023 Main Event seats will be up for grabs for WSOP.com online players, with each day promising at least 10 seats in satellites. This means that the operator will give away over $1.1 million worth of Main Event seats, each worth $10,000, over the next two weeks.
The online campaign will culminate in the “25 Seat Scramble” on July 2, which promises a prize pool of no less than $250,000, allowing players to take their shot at getting into this year’s Main Event for a buy-in of just $215.
With 25 seats guaranteed to be given away on this massive satellite, this would mean that the tournament would need to attract over 1250 entries to avoid an overlay. Sub-satellites into the Scramble can be entered for as little as $30, which will be played as a rebuy/add-on tournament.
- Running June 1 – July 16
- 20 bracelet events on the schedule
- Buy-ins from $333 to $5300
- Satellites starting at $1

Additionally, the operator will host “All-In” satellites daily, with buy-ins ranging from $80 to $126 and no rake or tournament fees charged. Furthermore, a last-chance drawing will also take place on July 8 — giving players a final chance to qualify to play the world’s richest poker tournament.
The Seat Sprint campaign is part of WSOP’s effort to break the all-time record for the most participants in the Main Event. Last year, the officials came very close to becoming the largest Main when it drew 8663 entrants, falling shy of the 2006 record by just 111 seats.
As a result, to overcome the 17-year-old record, the operator is running a 112 Seat Sprint exclusively for players on the WSOP US real money platform. WSOP and its international partner GGPoker have joined that effort and committed to sending 600 players. The operator has well exceeded that number, and close to 700 players have won their way to Las Vegas through GGPoker and ClubGG platforms.
If the WSOP hits an all-time record this year, WSOP will conduct a prize draw among all Main Event participants, awarding one lucky player WSOP Main Event entries every year for the next 30 years.
Daily Satellites to Main Are Still Running
Dozens of players have already qualified for the pinnacle Main Event thanks to the daily satellites already running on WSOP NV & WSOP NJ platforms. Every day, the operator is hosting a $215 direct satellite event where at least one seat is guaranteed.
In addition to the daily satellites, the operator is hosting a Main Event freeroll in each of the four states where it operates — including Michigan & Pennsylvania — players need to make a deposit using code
JUNE23 to participate in the freeroll. Once they do that, they will receive an entry into an exclusive freeroll that runs on June 28, which awards the winner a $10,000 WSOP 2023 Main Event seat.
