PokerStars is back with the North America Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), bringing heaps of exciting tournament action to players in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ontario.
The 2024 North America SCOOP runs April 5 — 22 and features $7 million in combined guaranteed prizes. Of that number, $3,000,000 is reserved for the combined PokerStars NJ/MI platform; PokerStars PA players will share at least $2.25 million; and SCOOP series taking place at PokerStars ON offers a total of CAD 2.3 million (around USD 1.7 million).

PokerStars North America SCOOP 2024 Overview
Dates for the 2024 edition of the North America SCOOP have just been revealed and the information about the series is still somewhat scarce. This will change in the coming days, though, as PokerStars US will be revealing full tournament schedules for both platforms.
What we know so far is that the Spring Series of Online Poker 2024 in the US will take place April 5 — 22, offering $3,000,000 in guarantees in the MI / NJ shared pool and $2,250,000 in Pennsylvania.
Compared to last year, the operator has slightly bumped the guarantees in Pennsylvania ($2.25 million compared to $2 million in 2023), while the guarantee for PokerStars MI / NJ has remained unchanged. ONSCOOP will see the biggest increase in guarantee, as PokerStars ON players will get to compete for CAD 2.3 million in guarantees compared to CAD 1.8 million in 2023.
The 2023 series ended up easily exceeding the guarantees, awarding nearly $6.8 million in the US and pretty much hitting the target in Ontario, and there is every reason to believe that the 2024 North America SCOOP will at least replicate that success.

2024 North America SCOOP Schedule
The 2024 North America SCOOP schedule features a grand total of 390 events across the three jurisdiction: MI / NJ, PA, and Ontario. This is a total number of events across all orbits, low, medium, and high.
Players in Ontario will enjoy the most extensive schedule with a total of 135 events. PokerStars MI / NJ will host 129 events this SCOOP, while players in Pennsylvania will have 126 events shots at SCOOP titles.

2024 North America SCOOP Main Events
Players at PokerStars MI / NJ will get to compete for the guaranteed prize pool of $300,000 in the Main Event, while the PA Main Event offers the guarantee of $225,000. In Ontario, the Main Event will offer a guarantee of CAD 200,000.
All three tournaments play out on April 21 — 22 and feature the buy-in of $/CAD 300. Of course, there are ways to qualify for the ME for much less, which we cover in the next section.
