Poker legends Barny Boatman and Joe Beevers took a seat to reflect on how the game has changed since PartyPoker first hit the scene.

According to them, the days of relying on physical tells and gut feelings are long gone. In their words, the rise of online play and solver-trained pros has made the game almost unrecognizable.

'You used to win because you could read a guy’s hands. Now you win because you can read a computer’s output.’

Daniel Negreanu was in striking distance of a record-tying ninth WSOP bracelet at the WSOP Online $25,000 High Roller Championship.

According to PokerNews, Season 1 of Hellmuth’s Home Game was less about the host and more about the guest list.

Jennifer Tilly topped the charts, banking $189,150 over 816 hands with a VPIP of 56.3 percent. Dan “Jungleman” Cates played even more aggressively, entering 62 percent of pots and finishing up $116,225.

GGPoker WSOP Online Main Event creates $28.5M prize pool.

The final numbers are in, with all flights combined drawing 6,008 entries and creating a massive $28.5 million prize pool — the third-largest in the tournament’s history.

That also beats last year’s 5,961 entries.

The winner will take home a record $4 million first-place prize, plus a $30,000 Super Pass for the WSOP 2026 Paradise festival.
