In May, BetRivers Poker took a 10% market share of the $8 million-per-month US online poker market, according to estimates compiled and published on Poker Industry PRO this week.

According to these figures, it is BetRivers’ best month in both absolute online poker revenue and market share. Estimated revenue for BetRivers in May 2026 was $828k, up almost $100k on April 2026 for its highest ever revenue.

Its revenue in Pennsylvania, its most established market, hit an all-time high of over $350k. Michigan online poker revenue estimates exceeded $300k.

BetRivers is still distant from the big three operators, who each take approximately 30% of the US online poker market. WSOP Online led the market in May, with $2.8 million in revenue; FanDuel was close behind with $2.6 million, and BetMGM Poker was third with $2.3 million.

However, against this backdrop, BetRivers Poker is consistently growing its market share. This came during a highly competitive period, with PokerStars relaunching as FanDuel Poker and WSOP starting its online bracelet series.

Despite these pressures, in May 2026, BetRivers took a 9.7% share, up from 8.1% in April. At the start of the year, it was below 7%.

To achieve this, BetRivers continues to update and upgrade its unique online poker offering, while providing a mix of value-oriented promotions and tournaments that succeed in attracting new players.

In early May, the site pushed out an important software update which, among other improvements, made key upgrades to the tournament lobby. These landed just in time for Summer Warm Up Series, a $500k-guaranteed festival that ran for two weeks last month. It followed this up immediately with Added Prizes Week.

This month, it has run Micro Mania, a 30-event schedule of small buy-in events which paid out $10k in overlays to cover the ambitious $50k guarantees, and is currently running the World Soccer Tournament Predictor promotion that coincides with the World Cup.

BetRivers has one unique advantage over other operators: Its parent company RSI holds the monopoly contract with the Delaware Lottery to provide the state with online gambling, so BetRivers Poker is the only licensed Delaware online poker site. It is also the only operator to take advantage of regulated online poker in West Virginia. It combines these with its operations in Pennsylvania and Michigan to offer a four-state online poker network.

For BetRivers, one market still remains elusive: New Jersey. New Jersey’s online poker market is equal in size to Pennsylvania’s ($2.48 million was generated in each last month). When BetRivers does go live in the state, it will increase its addressable market by 25%. The site will have a unique five-state online poker network and should easily grow its monthly revenue well above $1 million.

The operator had expected to launch in New Jersey earlier this year, but unknown delays have pushed back the launch. There is no timeline yet on when the launch will happen, but pokerfuse understands that BetRivers is still actively engaged in New Jersey and is still working towards a launch.
