Turns out, you don’t need antics to make poker interesting.
According to Lance Bradley via ESPN, the 2026 WSOP Main Event final table was a rare throwback: no shouting, no props, and no weird antics. Nine players from five countries battled for ten million dollars, but what stood out wasn’t the money or the trophy.
The rail brought the atmosphere, with friends and family creating a buzz before a single hand was dealt. There were no gimmicks, just personalities and top-level play.
Lance notes that this was the most entertaining final table in years, even if the Hall of Fame process needs a rethink.
