Four of online poker’s most popular games were constantly in action over the week with 8-Game, Deuce to Seven Triple Draw, Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo and Pot Limit Omaha producing the largest accumulation of cash over what has been the biggest 7-day period of online high stakes cash poker since the WSOP came to an end according to Highstakesdb.com.

Top 10 Online Poker Winners

Swedish player Viktor “Isildur1” Blom and the unknown German grinder SanIker both had winnings close to the $1 million mark, while there were two player that suffered heavy defeats of over half a million and a quarter of a million dollars.

SanIker didn’t move from the Triple Draw tables for the entire week staying deeply involved in the low ball poker style. It took just 24 sessions and 4,269 hands to win $952,844 leaving the German with only a $365,476 yearly deficit after being over a million dollars in the red prior to this week’s win.

In addition, the online Full Tilt regular is now this month’s highest earner with a $1,215,552 profit.

Over the course of the week SanIker played at $2k/$4k stakes against Alexander “PostflopAction” Kostritsyn, Chun “samrostan” Lei Zhou, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, Trueteller, Sebastian “taktloss47” Ruthenberg, Cort “thecortster” Kibler-Melby, Alex “Alexonmoon” Luneau, fellow online German player Kagome Kagome and this year’s new comer to the high stakes cash games AthaCliath.

As for Blom, he spread his play across 8-Game, Deuce to Seven Triple Draw and Omaha Hi/Lo.

On the 8-Game tables the Swede profited with a $226,568 win, which was just behind AthaCliath, who was the biggest winner at the mixed games taking down $335,644. That profit was slightly dented by a $139,527 loss on the Triple Draw tables landing the newest high stakes player on Full Tilt with the fourth highest profit for the week.

Moving back to Blom, the Swede was second best on the Triple Draw tables booking a $102,362 win, but this was way behind the nearly $1 million win posted by SanIker. However, in the only high stakes action this week on the $1k/$2k Omaha Hi/Lo tables Blom was the biggest winner.

Carloo13 and Blom were in a heads-up challenge on Thursday where both players took to two separate sessions and played 1,503 hands in which Blom inflicted a $537,104 loss on his opponent.

Top 10 Online Poker Losers

Chun “samrostan” Lei Zhou had a disappointing run over the week dropping $718,945 in 11 sessions of 8-Game and 20 sessions of Triple Draw. It was the latter that had the worst effect on his bank roll with a total loss of $429,307. The Macau based pro’s 8-Game losses were a little more respectable coming in at $289,638. Nonetheless, he lost more than any other player over the week in both styles.

$370,462 of those losses came on Sunday playing on the Triple Draw and 8-Game tables. $249,618 was lost in 4 sessions of 8-Game while he also lost playing 7 sessions of Triple Draw versus Viktor “Isildur1” Blom, Trueteller, Cort “thecortster” Kibler-Melby and the week’s biggest winner SanIker.

This week was a disappointing one for Lei Zhou after a stellar performance the previous week. As a result of his losses this week, he now has only $137,435 in profit for the month.

Carlooo13 managed to accumulate the second highest loss of the week in spite of only playing 2 sessions. The aforementioned heads-up match versus Blom on Thursday was the only time Carlooo13 was seen throughout the entire week.

Below Carlooo13 was Cort “thecortster” Kibler-Melby with a $243,570 loss. which was entirely the courtesy of the Triple Draw games in what was an eventual 17 session downswing.

After a profitable month winning $801,574, Blom has cut his total losses for the year to just a $459,077 making him the sixth highest loser for 2014.

Gus Hansen has lost the most in 2014 dropping $3,545,491. Phil “Polarizing” Ivey is also still in the red with the second highest loss for the year totaling $1,815,817.

At the top of the winner’s list, Dan “jungleman12” Cates remains unchallenged with a $1,355,295 profit. Alex “Alexonmoon” Luneau, who only made a slight profit this week to bring his yearly total up to $1,234,122, sits in 2nd place overall.
