As winter runs its course, the New Jersey online poker rooms are running some big promotions and large guaranteed tournaments to celebrate the New Year—and try to capture their share of the new market.
WSOP.com Online Championships Puts $1 Million Up For Grabs
The first-ever WSOP.com Online Championships in the Garden State kicks off Sunday January 19 with a $250K Freeroll. The series includes another $250K freeroll on February 2, and also includes over $500K in guaranteed prize money over the course of the series.
Buyins range from $109 to $530. Just play in any of the seven Online Championships events and you will be awarded a seat in a $250K Players Freeroll tournament on February 2.
In addition, every Sunday at WSOP.com you have chance to win your share of a $25K prize pool. The WSOP virtual card room offers a No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament with a $25K Guarantee with a buyin of just $200 + $15. Players begin with a 5,000 chips and 15-minute levels. partypoker’s Pokerfest and $50K Guarantee
Every Sunday partypoker hosts a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool tournament for players in New Jersey. It starts at 7:30 pm local time, and has a $200 buyin. You can also win your way in via one of their satellites.
Micro stakes players have fifty chances to turn small stakes into massive wins with some of poker’s largest ROIs. Eighteen days of micro buyin action includes $50,000 worth of guaranteed prize pools. Hold’em and Omaha tournaments feature a series of bounty and re-buy structures for buyins as low as $0.50.
