Madness Atop The GPI300 Rankings
Ole Schemion (GPI#1) made a return to #1 following his win in the EPT Sanremo High Roller event last week while WPT Player of the Year Mukul Pahuja (GPI#7) reaches a career-high on the GPI.
But the big shocker was that former #1 Daniel Negreanu (GPI#12) nosedived to 12th in the World after losing a massive 660 points last week. Negreanu became the victim of his past success.
Stammen Wins WPT World Championship
Current 2014 GPI Player of the Year leader Keven Stammen (GPI#58) added to his lead in grand fashion. Stammdogg won the WPT World Championship over the weekend, defeating Byron Kaverman (GPI#20) heads-up for the major!
Stammen joins the list of players one win away from entering poker’s Triple Crown Club. After winning a WSOP bracelet in 2009 and collecting his first WPT title on Saturday, Stammen is now a EPT title away from joining the “club”.

In between Top 20 finishes at the Borgata Spring Open Championship and the WPT World Championship, Jeff Madsen (GPI#83) would earn the victory in the 1K NLH Six Max Re-Entry event and adding the 52K USD top prize to his bankroll.

Kuether Heads Final Table At WSOPC Philly
Joe Kuether (GPI#43) will take the chip lead into final table play at the World Series of Poker Circuit event at Harrah’s Philadelphia in Chester, PA.
Timothy West (GPI#108), BSO Six Max event runner-up Kevin Saul (GPI#348) and Kyle Bowker (GPI#207) start the day with the smallest chip stacks, although their experience could help them flip the switch on their opposition – don’t count them out yet!
