Online poker giant GGPoker has introduced a new side betting game on its cash game tables dubbed Bet on Flop.
Bet on Flop allows players to place side bets on the cards that will be dealt on the flop. Players have multiple bet choices such as if there will be a pair in the flop, a flush, a straight, three of a kind, or a straight flush. Players also have the option of board textures such as “more red” or “more black” in which two or more cards are of the same color suits.
These bets are placed against the house, not against other players on the table. Furthermore, the money spent is deducted from a player’s wallet rather than from their chip stack at the table. The side game is very similar to a previous feature introduced by PokerStars.
The side betting feature is currently available at all Hold’em cash game tables (excluding Rush & Cash tables) in select markets. The feature could expand to include more markets, barring regions where the game cannot be launched due to local regulations, a GGPoker spokesperson told PRO.
