- Ödman steps down after two years as VP and one year as president at Bodog Poker Network.
- “If California were to regulate online poker, and there is talk about it, it would create a California Gold Rush for the online poker industry.”
- “Inevitably, I would love to bring the Recreational Poker Model to the US and may well decide to make a fundamental change to my career.”
Jonas Ödman, President of the Bodog Poker Network, announced Tuesday his resignation from the position, with the goal of spreading his controversial “Recreational Poker Model” to the yet-to-be-regulated California online poker market.
Ödman, who has held the position of president for just over a year, and prior to that Vice President for two years, is reportedly leaving the Bodog group on “great terms,” in what was described as a “very amicable parting.”
