Unibet has become the fourth online poker room to launch under license in the Dutch regulated market, the company has confirmed to PRO.
The Unibet.NL website was soft-launched on Monday, July 4. Parent company Kindred Group has yet to publicize its long-awaited debut in the market to the press or investors. Still, PRO understands the operator launched real money online gambling to customers in the Netherlands.
It has debuted with a full slate of gaming verticals, including sports betting, casino, live casino, bingo, and online poker.
It marks the fourth online poker room to launch in the country since the market opened over nine months ago. It is also only the third separate online poker network available to customers. It is joining GGPoker’s independent online poker room and the iPoker network, on which skins Holland Casino and Bet365 are active.
“We are delighted to welcome Dutch players back to Unibet Poker! This is a win for the Dutch players that have the option to play on the exclusive Unibet client and for players across our platform that will benefit from the increased liquidity,” said Kristoffer Bergvall, Head of Poker at Unibet to PRO.
