- Zynga Poker still continues to dominate the free play online poker space, with bookings on mobile up 9% year-on-year, daily active users up 3%, and bookings up 5% compared with last quarter.
- As a proportion of the group’s $136 million in gaming revenue last quarter, poker grew to 19%, up 1% on Q2 2015. In real terms, in-app purchases at Zynga Poker were almost $26 million, a slide of the $29 million on last year but outperforming most other titles.
- All combined, poker and slots now account for 51% of the group’s revenue, with only the FarmVille collection of games contributing similar value.
Zynga’s portfolio of social casino games, especially its still industry-dominant Zynga Poker, remain the foundation of the group’s revenue, accounting for 51% of all gaming revenue for the last quarter.
