Swedish family owned Bonnier Group has bought Redbet Gaming from Nordic Leisure AB. Online brands Redbet, Whitebet, Heypoker and Total Poker are included in the acquisition.
Bonnier Gaming CEO Marcus Forsell said: “We are proud and excited that the acquisition is underway…. Redbet has long been going strong in the Nordic market.”
Redbet left the Entraction network when owners IGT shut it down and now operates its poker rooms using Ongame software.
According to its own About Us page, Bonnier desribes itself as; “a culturally progressive, humanistic company with a belief in the power of the individual and freedom of speech.”
The Bonnier Group is “an international media conglomerate, working in all media channels in companies and brands across 18 countries.”
