- As with previous payments, those scheduled to receive fund may receive a zero balance transaction in their accounts; however, the GCG cautions that not all banks will post the zero sum transactions and therefore the lack of such a “test” transaction is not an indication of a player’s eligibility for the upcoming payment.
The Garden City Group has announced that an additional 3,500 payments totaling $15 million will be distributed to petitioners.
The new round of payments was approved by the Department of Justice Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section and funds are expected to be distributed in mid June to players “who submitted complete, timely or late Petitions confirming their FTP Account Balance.”
As with previous payments, those scheduled to receive funds may receive a zero balance transaction in their accounts; however, the GCG cautions that not all banks will post the zero sum transactions and therefore the lack of such a “test” transaction is not an indication of a player’s eligibility for the upcoming payment.
The GCG also warns that players that have a delinquent debt to the US government can expect their payments to be reduced to cover their outstanding debt.
These players will be notified in advance and required to complete the proper paperwork in order to receive the balance of their payment.
Over $80 million has been returned to victims of Full Tilt Poker since the first payments in the remission process were issued at the end of February.
