- The Bulgarian SGC has removed three sites from its blacklist, including WilliamHill.com, after they were deemed to be compliant with the gambling laws.
- Recent proposals to reform the gambling taxation system will, when enacted, make a Bulgarian license a more attractive option for foreign operators.
- William Hill has an additional motivation to be compliant: it operates a major customer support center in the Bulgarian capital, Sofia, with over 200 employees.
The Bulgarian State Gambling Commission (SGC) is again shrinking its blacklist as WilliamHill.com and two other sites have been removed after the SGC ruled that they were now compliant with the relevant articles in the Gambling Act.
